It's a well known and documented side effect of the vaccine in the under 30 men.
Yes but to a proportion of about 0.03% case... The vaccine cannot explain all recent heart related problem we are seeing right now.

There is currently many studies researching the effect on your heart from Covid. Each professional team are now scanning their player for heart related covid effect. I think we should be prepared to see a few more getting sideline.

Read the article. This developed after the guy had COVID! Which carries a risk of myocarditis much higher than the vaccines.

The vaccine induced cases of myocarditis in young men is why several European countries pulled Moderna from vaccinating them and reassigned it to the older population. This is not a secret nor a conspiracy of any kind. It's true that it's rare- I guess Mr. Davis is just lucky.

Exactly. It first started when Kimmich (the super star player for Bayern) got heart problem about 6 months ago. It took a few weeks for his heart lesions to heal. For general population it's not that much of a problem but for athletes like this yes.

And by the way Kimmich was not vaccinated.

Again I know it's well known that pretty much any vaccines has very mininal risk of blood clot and myocardis hear problem. But the proportion of risk seems now much higher by getting covid...

Sure. I don’t disagree that vaccine associated myocarditis is a known, albeit rare complication. However in the soccer player’s case, much more likely it was the actual COVID virus, which is much more likely to cause myocarditis (not to mention the rest of the nasty consequences of infection).

Just in we lost Alphonso for the next qualifying game.

For those who tough all these heart problem were due to the vax... I think it's fair to say now that the biggest problem are Covid related. Covid does damage heart tissue.
Since Davies was fully vaccinated we don't know whether it was the covid that caused it or the jabs. There are several studies out there that suggest risk of myocarditis in younger men is higher due to the vaccination as opposed to the virus itself.

I already answered exact same post...

Yes the vaccine can create myocardial attacks to a very small rate of ppl, like 0.003%.

But covid creates on many ppl heart lesion that can lead to myocardial problem to a much larger range of ppl. A normal person would live with it and it will heal without even knowing about it. Such athletes need to make sure it heals before they go all out on the field.

You forget that 16-24 yr group is not very susceptible to myocarditis, even Covid induced- according to CDC.

Huge 2-0 win in Honduras, huge 3 pts to stay on top of the group. Canada is 3 pts away from Qatar.

I agree , huge win. Our Goalie was great. The referee and one of the linesmen sucked, they let the Hondurans get away with too much, he even went and checked the Var screen and still let the Honduras assaults on the Canadian go. Canada missed a few goals, but the David goal was good.

Do you have links or is this anecdotal?

The men have to persevere knowing that the ref will be against them during the final qualification games.

The ref didn't issue a yellow card to the Hondurans until the 60th minute - he was under threat of death if he called the game properly. The flagrant tackle against Piette deserved a red. Against the Americans it's going to be worse, the ref will be bought off.

Canada is undefeated during qualifying, maybe the USA game is where Canada gets CONCACAF'ed?

It was a huge game. Some of you may have not notice but defender Jonhston was brilliant in that game. I'm so happy he's playing for Montreal now :)

Buchanan made an 'Phonzie' move on the first goal haha well done!

David is one of the top 5 player on the market. He should have had another goal as he missed one!

Can't wait to see the team Sunday. My line up would be:

David
Larin - Buchanan
Adekugbe - Osorio - Eustaquio - Larya
Miller - Vitoria - Johnston
Borjan

Milan Borjan made three highlight reel saves in the second half.

David is a dedicated point man, he'll either score or flop, no middle ground. The offense has to be funneled to him for impact, but that doesn't always work. If he drops back he becomes invisible.

Romelu Lukaku is a point man: last season he scored 28 goals for Inter Milan. This season at Chelsea, under a different system, so far he has scored 5 goals for Thomas Teuchel.

The Hammer's Biber Nads Stadium got the 2026 WC gig. FIFA would have preferred Toronto but BMO Field's east end cannot be expanded upon without demolition of the building behind it.

Stephen Eustaquio may not play against the Wanks due to a +Covid test, game time decision. The Wanks will also be missing their midfield maestro Gianluca Busio who's injured but Juventus's Weston McKennie will start.

The teenager Busio is a future superstar.

Almost 10 years ago, Canada was humiliated by an 8-1 thrashing in Honduras, these lads rewrote the script.
