why do people feel the need to do this? is it attention getting? This is the only site/discussion forum where members will actually announce they are leaving, most other sites including ones I have left or got bored of I have just stopped going to.
Anyone who posts threads like this is told they will be back. Some do come back... Some don't.
What they don't say is... I wish you well in the next phase of your life... And hope that whatever brought you here, or kept you here since 2005 has been resolved, or replaced.
Without that my dear it is a futile effort. Even with it... It is hard to resist. Some of the people around here are like watching a train wreck. It is a total disaster and travesty to look at but darned if you can turn your head away from it all.
So... Best of luck in beating the odds.
