Look buddy, with or without a mortgage most people aren't going on $3.2 million home-buying sprees at the ripe old age of 37. As much as you'd like to plead ignorance on this and somehow portray her as just another working person, it's not going to work. In fact, the BLM of NYC is calling for an investigation into her little binge.

1. Mortgages?
2. Date she bought those properties?
3. Her salary - There's no reason that she doesn't pull an executive level salary?
4. Her husband's salary?
5. Tenants?
6. Co-owners?
There are people buying million dollar houses in TO w 3 or 4 tenants, massive mortgages and uncles and aunts chipping in for the down payment.
So let's wait for the investigation. If she's grifting, I'm happy to shrug and just move on. It doesn't mean BLM is any less valid. It just means that a certain leader was less than totally altruistic.

Patrisse has received a total of $120,000 since the organization’s inception in 2013, for duties such as serving as spokesperson and engaging in political education work. Patrisse did not receive any compensation after 2019,” BLM Global Network said in the statement.
“To be abundantly clear, as a registered 501c3, BLMGNF cannot and did not commit any organizational resources toward the purchase of personal property by any employee or volunteer. Any insinuation or assertion to the contrary is categorically false.
