That data is available if you look for it and the figure is not 90%. If you have ever searched for property throughout Canada and the USA you'll also note that $1.4 million home is not standard working class anywhere but in major cities. And the cost for housing in most of the USA is far lower than in Canada. This BLM grifter has done VERY well.
YOU tell me the data. Why should I work for an argument that you want to sell?

Look buddy, with or without a mortgage most people aren't going on $3.2 million home-buying sprees at the ripe old age of 37. As much as you'd like to plead ignorance on this and somehow portray her as just another working person, it's not going to work. In fact, the BLM of NYC is calling for an investigation into her little binge.

Stop being an ideologue and judge a case on its merits. You're not confined to sit in any single political camp at any given time.

You don't have any of the facts I asked you to find, do you?

Let's do:
1. Mortgages?
2. Date she bought those properties?
3. Her salary - There's no reason that she doesn't pull an executive level salary?
4. Her husband's salary?
5. Tenants?
6. Co-owners?

There are people buying million dollar houses in TO w 3 or 4 tenants, massive mortgages and uncles and aunts chipping in for the down payment.

So let's wait for the investigation. If she's grifting, I'm happy to shrug and just move on. It doesn't mean BLM is any less valid. It just means that a certain leader was less than totally altruistic.

I mean, you rightie guys KNOW that Ben Shapiro makes more money than you'll ever comprehend. You still love him anyway. It just adds to your feelings of awe and worship.

I don't remember which one but one of the ANC guys said:

"What's the point of being a revolutionary if you can't get rich?"

Discrediting BLM by claiming that one of their leaders grifted $ is like saying that the American Revolution was fake because Benedict Arnold took bribes from the British.

How about it must be really great to collect $90mm for a cause and not give a penny to that cause. Does BLM not have auditors who follow the money?

" Local chapters say they haven't received a single penny out of 90 million collected by BLM"
How about deal with facts as inconvenient as they may be.

“Patrisse Cullors is the Executive Director of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF). She serves in this role in a volunteer capacity and does not receive a salary or benefits. Patrisse has received a total of $120,000 since the organization’s inception in 2013, for duties such as serving as spokesperson and engaging in political education work. Patrisse did not receive any compensation after 2019,” BLM Global Network said in the statement.

“To be abundantly clear, as a registered 501c3, BLMGNF cannot and did not commit any organizational resources toward the purchase of personal property by any employee or volunteer. Any insinuation or assertion to the contrary is categorically false.

BLM was always a silly movement. People got caught up on the emotion of it all. Probably because everyone was locked up and the looming election. I’ll stand with anyone against Racism but BLM was just silly. Like a political Ponzi scheme.
