It's a tough choice. The Last Resort is the best song Don Henley ever wrote.

Boston wrote great music but like Led Zeppelin, their lyrics were shallow.

Yes, Zeppelin had a lot of gobblegook lyrics. Boston seems more straight forward.

I fell in love with this film after hearing this line.

I was visiting friends in the UK back in 2000 and we in were in a pub in west London when "Peaceful Easy Feeling" was playing.

One of my friends says, "Man, I've had a rough night and I hate the fuckin' Eagles!"

Everyone starts laughing and I was the only one who didn't get the joke, as I'd not seen the movie. It had already achieved cult status amongst my friends who told me about it. And I then watched the movie and loved it.

Don Henley has written some amazing songs. Just can't abide Hotel California.
Boston doesn't really need great lyrics with tunes and playing at that level.
Led Zepp makes the cut for me.
