The 1960s were over when Paranoid was released (September 1970). Let it Bleed was released in December 1969.Wasn't Paranoid the album that killed the 60's?
We all know about the Beatles in Hamburg, but are you sure about the Stones in Milan, chief? The Beatles got their first break in Hamburg, the Stones in Milano.
I had drinks at The Hot Lips bar in Milan, a Stones bar. I assumed that's where they began, upon further review The Stones did a six city tour of Italy in 1967.We all know about the Beatles in Hamburg, but are you sure about the Stones in Milan, chief?
Ah, OK, I'm pretty good with rock 'n' roll history and was not aware of any early gigs in Italy. They actually got their start in 1963 doing a Rice Krispies ad. It's the only song Brian Jones wrote for them.I had drinks at The Hot Lips bar in Milan, a Stones bar.
