Are you still going to hand out candy this year?

I bought less because I suspect many covidiots will keep kids locked in basement
But sure for the ones who do come

I saw one set of trick or treat kids with their parents and actually went up the street to give them treats. The parents said they were only taking the kids to a few neighbours they knew since the kids were dressed. Later that night I saw the neighbours behind them having an Easter egg style hunt for candies in their backyard. Sounded like the kids were enjoying themselves.

We put some bags of assorted chocolates on a table in our driveway, keeping the light on the veranda just in case. No visitors.

It was VERY busy... alot of last minute participants thats for sure

You could see how many houses did not have enough candy as kids coming home with things like juice boxes and pudding cups lol

But at least the sane ones prevailed

I bought 100 treats--and had exactly three kids. Oh well, chocolate for me!

Majority of kids wore masks outside which was odd but whatever makes them feel safe I suppose

The trick or treat rush was huge but most came early

It's never too late. Put on a mask and knock on a few doors.
