Is that 50% off the whole order or just their delivery/service charges?I use them when they give 50% off deals, it’s definitely worth it then.

There is usually a max dollar amount on a min $ order. Is that 50% off the whole order or just their delivery/service charges?
Pizza Pizza has this. You can't open the box without tearing the latch. The easy solution for this would be for the container of food to come with a seal over it
The whole order, you end up getting free delivery and food at a discountIs that 50% off the whole order or just their delivery/service charges?
Thanks. That sounds reasonable. The whole order, you end up getting free delivery and food at a discount
Soggy and soaked in condiments buns, limp fries all drenched in popped-the-lid drink containers that once held liquid. The whole order, you end up getting free delivery and food at a discount
If I’m getting delivery (which I only rarely do) I always try to order from the restaurant (especially if it’s a loca business, not a chain), so they can get the biggest part of the cut, rather than skip/ uber. Problem is, many restaurants have completely stopped providing their own delivery service and the apps are the only option.Simple solution: Stop using food delivery apps and services. With the added service charges and mandatory tipping its a fucking ripoff anyway.
If you look from the perspective of the question, it could be "have you ever eaten..." in which case 80% is still high, but not outrageously so.When I use them, I only order from places that use tamper proof packaging.
I also highly doubt the real figure is 80%. For one thing, that link post in the original post shows a U.S. survey from 2019 showed 29%. And I'm not sure if that survey differentiates between drivers eating parts of food before delivery, or eating the food when the order is cancelled after pick-up.
