I can say I had a neighbour who was a Metro Copper and he and his wife felt very entiltled to be above the law.

I've never understood the paid vacation thing if charges are serious
Any other job would show you the door and your only recourse is courts after the fact

If evidence is credible enough that you are considering filing and taking the cop to trial he should be fired

On flip side I really question the main womans story
According to her, she thought he was mentally unstable and should not carry a gun (she says he threatened to shoot her)
She called 911 on him multiple times between 2013 and 2017
That is 3+ years she stayed with him, and they are not married or anything to hold her there
And these were public fights (Walmart, Airport, neighbour apt etc)

At least the second women he met in 2018 ended quickly (5 months)

Terb righties: The cops are always right. Blacks, women, Muslims, lefties are always in the wrong. But when we do something, blue lives suddenly don't matter anymore.

Peel police just got away with killing Clive Mensah. They even got away with blocking the road, which caused paramedics to have to park far away from the scene.

I’m not surprise by the verdict or well in this case the plea deal. Happens way to much. It is a legal system, not a justice system.
It is not there to help or protect victims. It is there to be legally used by criminals to try to get away with as much as possible.

You have to under the cycle of abuse to understand why a victim stays. It is psychological.

Plus all a victim is told is to draft a safety plan and call 911. He is a cop. He is able to talk down fellow officers and avoid charges that usually any other man will get.

I can get it if someone is married or has kids etc shot like that does tie someone down mentally

But this is someone she met online, who abused her within months of meeting, and even stalked / trespassed her work etc
And we are talking like threats to shoot her so pretty serious from start

You see the second complainant kicked his ass to curb in a couple of months after meeting online...

Again, you don’t understand the cycle of abuse. So it is no surprise you don’t get why should didn’t leave sooner.

That is the problem with the stigma of abuse.
