This one is tough because they were two career-defining moments for two of my favourite bands. Both are rock-solid LPs with absolutely killer Side 1's.

But my vote is going to Dark Side.

I know which one @Sonic Temple is choosing, so this should cancel out my vote. :)

DAY 1: Zeppelin 4 vs Paranoid: TIE

DAY 2: Let it Be vs Let it Bleed: Let it Bleed wins

Dark Side of the Moon is the only Pink Floyd album I liked, The Wall/Animals/Wish You Were Here are overrated.

I never liked Rush albums after 2112, I've always considered Rush to be overrated.

So on this one I'll go Dark Side of the Moon.

No need for song order vs song order on this one. Without a doubt - no fillers all killers. (https://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/rush/albums-movingpictures.php).

Since Gilles Villeneuve and in particular Sergio Marchionne, Red Barchetta has become the theme song of F1 Ferrari.

Robert Plant expressed to Geddy Lee his admiration for Rush on their decision to retire after Neil Peart's health started to fail. Moving Pictures Eternae!

Oddly, Paul McCartney tried to talk Geddy and Alex into continuing on without Peart.

I’ll chime in.

Both are amazing albums by two bands in their prime. Amazing what they accomplished.

However, Dark Side of the Moon is on my all time favorite playlist when I’m flying overseas. I just love to drift in and out of sleep with it on repeat.

Not close. Dark Side wins for sure. Having said that, I do like YYZ and Limelight. When I first heard Tom Sawyer it bugged me but a lot of things bugged me in the early 80s. With repeated Can Con exposure the drumming does grow on you though.

Hate Moving Pictures so Dark Side is an easy choice. Don't like most Rush. First album and Permanent Waves were great in my opinion. But not much else. I know Floyd is good but for me it is too fucking depressing. The most mind fucked stone I ever had was listening to Atom Heart Mother on weed.
I did see Rush with John Rutsey at the Gasworks and believe it or not Larry's Hideaway.

As a RUSH fanatic I'll pick Moving Pictures. If I were neutral I'd say a tie.
