In all fairness, it is not a "justice" system. It is a legal system. One that has some flaws that make it possible for theses guys to get back on the street.
Okay. No one gets bail and everyone gets 10 years penitentiary - no matter what, why or who?

That triples your tax rates because someone - and that's YOU!!! - pays for all that extra jail and all those extra judges, courts and prosecutors.

I can't ever remember the level of theft and blatant disregard for the consequences as we are witnessing today in the GTA. Our justice system seems to want to give them all a hug and kick them right back out there to reoffend.

Too say that this is just the way it and get used to it is crazy
The amount you know about "our justice system" is zero.

Oh FFS - Dude. Relax.

You work in the legal field. You are know there are some flaws. You know it is a legal, not justice system. I didn't say anything that is false. I didn't say it was a bad system but every system has some flaws. You can't deny that and if you do, you're lying.

Bullshit.

Criminals aren't "emboldened" because something-something-Trudeau-is-a-commie.

This shit has always been happening and - hey! - who runs the courts??? - Duggo and the provincial Tories.

Who runs the cops??? - The city.

Who runs the prosecutors??? - Duggo and the provincial Tories.

Stop using it as your daily "I hate Justin" whine!
who let the criminals into Canada?

Ford or Trudeau?

A year ago, same shit, except it was a grab'n'run at Fairview Mall, a high end Asian Jewellery store on the ground floor. I saw security was chasing a couple of guys out into the parking lot, I had no idea what was going on until I walked by the store and saw more security blocking the entrance to it.
LUK FOOK they were gonna catch them.

Yorkdale Mall gets stuff happen at times, but only certain things make the news. No different than local ma and pa jewelry stores in the GTA that get robbed during broad daylight. End of the day it's insurance rates that go up. And if things like this keep happening similar to what's been happening down in the States cause there's tons of footage on YT then stores will eventually close down. Walmart locks up tons of stuff now too, but at the end of the day the employee isn't allowed to do much due to legal reasons too. Things are just gonna get worse moving forward. Cost of food is already going up next year and so forth too.
That's the plan, it's how you reset things, let it get all fucked up to the point where government (pretends to give a shit) and finally says "enough of this" and implements some real hard law and order.

And this is exactly why people constantly go back and forth with each other, it's both sides, fuck the party system, they're all to blame, it's the same thing all the time.
It's not a coincidence that people on both sides of the political aisles are wealthy and the people they "represent" are struggling or just getting by, aka "middle class".

It's the same old stuff; hardly a new norm. What really is interesting is when small businesses have video footage and the cops generally don't do much about it and I guess it's cause it didn't gain much media coverage or something. I've seen it happen in smaller cities and towns too. Talk to a few locals and you'll find out stories of what their business has gone through over time.

Regardless of whether it's white guys or immigrants. With all the home invasions, car jackings, robberies and shootings going on ...

This is why we can't have nice things. But we can still have nice experiences, if we keep 'em on the DL. Like SPs, for example.

We’re in a shit state of affairs and it’s only going to get worse.
Good in the cops for getting there but we need more cops and harsher punishments for all these “gangstas”.
What is sad is if an ordinary citizen took it upon themselves and harm were to find these hoodlums, the hoodlums would barley get a slap on the wrist, top medical care, and the citizen would be charged to the full extent of the law.
