Problem with Canada is you let in B class immigrants. A lot of them. If Canada can ship them all home, maybe US can replace 1:1 with a better crowd from those same countries. We take race out of the equation and make it about immediate return on investment.

Easy I call myself a Canadian because I pay my fair share of taxes (though I will admit that our provincial/federal taxes are too high) and I’m a contributing member to society.

CETA was Steven Harpers deal, Trudeau tweaked it and signed the final deal .
Trade with the EU has increased, however it is still a trade deficit for Canada and it is but a fraction of Canada / US trade
The EU is an economic basket case , if Trump goes Wahoo on them with tariffs their imports from Canada will decline
