To be fair, I don't think it's on them to stick to their lane. It's moreso on their fans to not be idiots. No one should be trusting the opinions of what is effectively a complete stranger to them, because they don't understand the motivations behind that person's words. The pseudo relationship between celebs and their fans is a dangerous thing, and it's contingent on the fans to realize that, IMO.Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but when your reach is millions and in Taylor's tens of millions, it's probably best to stick to entertaining and not influencing.
When your lane is tens of millions of people wide, that's a lot of influence.
