Made up an excuse for me to leave after about 20 minutes when I'd paid for an hour, promising to call me back to finish the session. I called her out and cut my losses.

I liked to think that I have developed a process to avoid such scammers. But, goes to show that when the other head does the thinking, it overrides the brain.
