I'm asking about prostitution stings in Canada.

Law enforcement largely leaves prostitution alone in Canada unless it involves trafficking or minors -- and no one here is going to argue against that.

Prostitution stings are really more of an American thing and borderline entrapment is used to arrest johns. I'd definitely think twice about hobbying in the US unless it's in Nevada, which has legal brothels.

In Canada, it's legal for an SP to sell services, it's just technically illegal for johns to buy, but so long as it's being kept off the street there is pretty much no chance guys are going to get nailed for hobbying.

I hate being super technical, but a bust is not the same as a sting.

A sting is basically the cops luring someone into committing a crime. A bust is a police raid were they visit you unexpectedly.

I guess I am lucky, because my predilections are always toward minimum age 30 and up, and independent. My ideal is actually around 50. I don't think there are likely to be any trafficked 50 year olds living in their own apartment.
