Ive been hobbying with a wife for 13 years now. The closest I ever got to getting busted was smelling like perfume after having a shower at the spa. Was able to brush it off but now I only hobby if there's going to be at least 24 hours and two showers between the girl and my wife plus an opportunity to launder all my clothes. Have been GTG since. Also use a locked folder on your phone and a burner email address only accessible from that folder along with a web browser inside the folder for browsing SP sites thats not logged in to any of your accounts. Delete all booking calls from your phone as soon as you make them. Has worked for me so far.

Same vein as Nadia's idea. Just start talking about a small business/side hustle you want to start. Loads of start-up expenses, lots of cash flying. You'd need a separate 'business' account. Imagine the fake invoices for vague things like 'IT' or 'Lead generation'. Lot's of built-in excuses to be away from home for a few hours. And if you actually do it and make some money, maybe even more Nadia.

Ultimately if you want to be spending side money on a consistent basis, well you're going to need to make some side money.

I have a credit card that only I have access to. I also manage all the household finances and take out $100 a month cash which I save for these purposes. It also helps that my hobbying budget is low (about 1k/yr or less) so based on my situation it's easy to hide.

Start a legit hobby that requires money to do. This will give you an excuse for spending cash as well as an excuse to leave the house to look for stuff for the hobby. Maybe start a vinyl record collection for example, you have to go out to go searching for records etc.
