What a bust Pearson turned out to be.
And now he throws so many sliders, I don’t expect him to last much longer before requiring surgery. I learned from my childhood watching Dave Stieb with all of his arm shakes and twitches, just like Manoah started doing.

No different than many first round picks from the MLB draft. It's the one league with the most potential to have busts and steals of the draft. You'd be surprised how many Hall of Famers were middle to late round draft selections.

Did we get Bellinger? ;)

Hitting .270
OPS .740
On pace for 14HR, 70RBI
I know he stinks. Thank goodness we dodged that bullet. Aside from Shohei Ohtani and Teoscar Hernandez, I guess in hindsight there wasn’t really much else Ross Aitkens could’ve done to address the power concern.

Going to miss Jansen. It was fun watching him play all these years. Always gave maximum effort . Best of luck to him.

Why did they never try to get him to sign a new deal? He's way better overall than Kirk.

Maybe we should just have faith in Atkins' baseball acumen.

Like you have said before, Ross drools over team control. I think the weakest thing about him is his ability to extend existing talent. Very bad negotiating skills.

The Jays traditionally nickel and dime almost every player who's under team control. They manage to avoid arbitration most of the time, but their hard-ass stance when the 'have hand' doesn't exactly inspire loyalty.

I hope they nickel and dime Bichette. Lock up Guerrero, sign Hernandez to a four year deal (wishful thinking), and make Bichette earn an extension talk in 2025.

My dream lineup top six in 2025….

1) Bichette
2) Horrowitz
3) Guerrero
4) Teo Hernandez
5) Varsho
6) Springer

And the manager being Terry Franccone, Joe Madden, or John Gibbons. If Ross made this work I would be a supporter of his lol.
