It's funny how an energy crisis can clarify one's thinking - particularly when that energy crisis is comprised of skyrocketing prices, a serious risk of blackouts in the cold days of winter and countries at the continued mercy of Vladimir Putin.

Nonetheless, it's clear there is a growing awareness that reducing the supply of energy from fossil fuels will lead to disaster unless there is a reliable substitute, which means nuclear power and natural gas.

The E.U.'s moves to include nuclear power and natural gas in the definition of "renewable" energy also marks the continued collapse of the Green New Deal fairy tale about replacing fossil fuels with wind and solar power.

Given that you've admitted the science is correct, the predictions correct and that we've already hit 1ºC of warming, why would you propose we burn more natural gas in the EU?
Are you just trying to back Putin making more cash?

There is merit in conversion to renewable energy provided that people
are willing to accept a low-energy lifestyle. Life will be harsh to people
everywhere across the world through the impending energy crunch. By
comparison life will be easier in EU and Asia than at least that of the low
income population in North America.

Low energy vs low food, no insurance, more climate refugees, extreme weather.....

Tough choice.

Meanwhile, senior cabinet ministers in the U.K. are urging the government to rethink its net-zero plans as the country faces its biggest drop in living standards since records began.

You should see someone about your short term memory loss.
You should find someone to teach you remedial English. Nowhere in the quotes you've cited so far have I said anything even remotely resembling your claim that I said the IPCC's predictions were accurate.

Actually, I've said they were spectacularly wrong.

However, you'll be pleased to know I'm starting a new thread to examine what you have said on this matter. I think you'll find it quite fascinating. 😃

You said that there was about 1ºC warming, which is what the IPCC was projecting at the time.
You confirmed their numbers and now you're saying you never confirmed their numbers?
