Somewhat appalled at how easily she yielded to those scums and obeyed them for the sake of drives and sitting shotgun.... Mental issues? Repercussions of some early childhood traumas? Also kind of surprised by the passiveness of the police...

Woman can be easily tricked by a man especially at a young age when parents have somehow forgotten your very existence. I can in a way understand this lady on a personal level. Shit happens to use that can be difficult to understand or get out of especially once it consumes our daily life.

It's a touching story but hasn't changed my attitude towards this hobby and it's providers a bit.

If anyone...blame the liberals who pushed for legalizing prostitution. The industry exploded after that and so did trafficked and underage girls proportionally. But they only take credit for the positives and never admit to the negatives of their decisions.

Who cares if people go bankrupt, get evicted, revert to their addictions, get stuck in abusive homes, commit suicide....LOCK IT DOWN!!

That's a very convicing story from what I know. Her parents must have had their head in the sand for years and unfortuntely I've seen that sort of thing happen - where parents just have zero involvement in their kids development. Happens every day. No doubt she would have been difficult to handle as a teenager. Many are. But as a parent you have to claim some responsibilty - seems her parents had zero care until they were pushed into it out of fear. The part where her parents were paying the pimps off for $5000 makes me want to puke. I'd be bringing firepower and buddies to that meeting. Plant a GPS on their cars and tracking them to where they lived. Even up the odds a bit. And then some. Seems the Cops were Useless.

Very true... Unfortunately, young women and to some extent young boys can be lured by men into a very dark world. They feel neglected and get sucked into a life of hell by people providing shelter, booze, drugs among other methods. These guys know how to manipulate these teens.

I can know this happens, first hand. When I was growing up, (10-11) there was a neighbour, a family friend who knew my parents well. He was 8-10 years older than myself and a good friend of my older brothers and sisters. Always in the mix at gatherings and parties etc. He used to take me for drives in his hot rod and taught me a lot about cars. Then one day he invited me over when his parents were away. We hung out for a bit, normal stuff. Then I had to go to the washroom. When I came out, I heard him call, "I'm in here." When I got to the bedroom, he was naked on his back and jerking off. I was completely freaked out. It was before I even knew what jerking off was. I didn't know if I should stay or get the hell out of there. He told me to stay and I watched for a minute, then he came. I was shocked. Thankfully from that point on, I realized what he was doing and knew to stay away from him. He tried his best to get me to go for a ride in his car, or come over but I stayed away.

Looking back, I realized he was grooming me for his own personal satisfaction. Not that he was going to lure me into sex trafficking, rather he was just another pedophile looking for his next victim. But I can see first hand how these people work and how easy it is for them to control their victims.

What's amazing, is the number of women I've dated who have similar stories at the hands of older men. I'm sure I have male friends who have similar stories, but would never mention it face to face.

I've never told anyone this story before. And to think I got a Facebook request from that scumbag a couple years ago. I was as shocked as the day it happened.

I really wouldn't bat an eye if parents of trafficked children murdered these absolute scum criminals enslaving their kids. In fact I'd go as far to encourage this violence, and even says it's well called for and just.

The groomers and pedos don't deserve life.

The only rehabilitation program I'd accept is a bullet in the skull.

A lot of you make some stupid ass posts on this forum, and in this subthread in particular... I always try my hardest to avoid engaging with them, but Jesus Christ.. I can't help but point out the fact that you're a fucking idiot
