To the SPs. Did you give any gifts to any of your regulars?
Always, it's one of the easiest ways to demonstrate that you genuinely appreciate someone. I don't do anything big for Christmas or Hanukkah as neither is a big holiday for me but birthdays are something that should be special and memorable so that's when I am more likely to go all out.
As for gifts I received I don't want to single anyone out but I had a lovely morning lounging in my robe, sipping tea, eating some Oh She Glows muffins and playing music on my tablet with some new speakers. My evening was relaxing as well, soaking in a nice hot bath by candlelight and enjoying a Barolo that is only a few years younger than I am.
Of course the best gift of all was a stop in the daytime to spend time with a friend, someone I love dearly that has been ill for some time now and their Dr. had not expected them to be with us this holiday, we went to the park together and fed some birds and squirrels and had a pleasant day together soaking up the world around us. That's what made it a truly wonderful holiday and one I won't soon forget.
I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday however they celebrate it and to those that had to work thank you, the rest of the world appreciates that you kept us all going when you would probably rather be off enjoying the day with family and friends.
