I predict gas prices will go up to.................Um, a buck + per liter in a short time.

I just paid .83.9 at my local Shell which never gives bargains. They are always full retail.

As a result, instead of stocking up on toilet paper I rented a big tanker trailer and hoarded gas instead. I parked it in the P2 underground parking of my building. Gotta tell you though, it was a bitch to maneuver down two levels and then park. I even had to back it into my spot which I never do with my car.

A couple of weeks ago gas prices even around a buck a squirt would have had people lining up round the block. Now in the low 80c area the forecourts are practically deserted. Everyone is in the supermarkets arguing over toilet rolls and pasta. Just wait for the sub 2% mortgage rate, its not far off...

After the curfew or lock down, there will be no driving. Prices will rise back after the malaise lifts due to the OPEC quarrels and the viral pandemic.
