I follow August Ames on twitter. I always felt that she had some emotional problems. She boasted about her chronic use of weed. She dropped a noticeable amount of weight in recent months, I didn't think she looked healthy. And it was confirmed by several peers/friends that she suffered from depression. Seems this latest incident of twitter trolls bashing her for being 'homophobic' pushed her over the edge causing her to take her own life. Only 23 years old and a superstar in the porn industry. To go out like that is so tragic. RIP

I saw the news as i woke up. I always go to twitter on my cell as i wake up as i follow lots of pornstars and escorts among other things and it usually bright up my day waking up looking as hot pics and stuff. But today was a very sad one... I was laughing at some star wars meme one sec and then the next one i see August Ames dead... :O I was shocked. Its digusting she was bullied this way. And altough she may had emotional problems before, these fuckers shouldn't had never say those horrible things.
Its not weird. When you see peoples in your screen for a while, you get to feel like you know them even if you don't. They become part of your life. Its the same as when Paul Walker died...
More then a few of the comments on her twitter feed for her last post were straight up death threats. I suspect they will be looked into......

Anyone who knows the Occupational Health and Safety Act will know that any worker has the right to refuse to carry out work that they feel is unsafe at any time. It is entirely up to the worker, and there can be no repercussions taken against that worker.
This young woman was simply exercising her rights as a worker and ignorant people crucified her.
Shameful.
