Well I'll share what I have been up to - I use to be quite the Chess player when I was younger competing in local tournaments, nationally ranked, studying daily etc. I have immersed myself back into that since COVID struck. It's been great in terms of giving something else to focus my energy on, rather than the news which is mostly negative these days.

I've been playing online for about 3 years now on 888 Poker. I don't play a lot of money games but mostly free tournaments. I do play a few money tournaments mostly free rolls. Been playing a lot more since house arrest.

One of them was just this past weekend. It was a promotion called The $1,000,000 superstorm and ran the whole month of March. I won a few free tickets on the daily free spins to get into satellite tournaments that you could use to try to qualify for the "Main Event". I did finish high enough in one of them and won a $100 entry to one the pre qualifying tournaments for the big one. I think there were 3 qualifiers each day from March 1 to March 23 and entry was $100 or $0 if you had a free ticket. Each tournament had anywhere from 100 to 2000 players and depending on the number of players anywhere from 10 to 120 would qualify for the main event. Well I entered one with the free $100 ticket and finished high enough to get into the main event.
It ran March 23 at 3:30. 11,618 players attempted to get in and 2202 made it.
They paid the first 1250 spots.
Total purse was $1,000,000.
1st place was $112,000 and the last 450 spots paid $213.00
I finished 180 and won $855.00 in $US funds.
So I guess I have covid -19 and social distancing to thank as I wouldn't have been playing if I wasn't stuck at home.
I immediately withdrew the winnings so I wouldn't be tempted to keep playing. I will keep trying free rolls but think this was probably a one off and I just happened to catch lightening in a bottle

I play on PokerTH, which only has ranking as an incentive to not play like a complete idiot (but that doesn't stop many). I used to play on PokerInCanada/TigerGaming. I'll try 888 Poker.

That's amazing. Congrats on the score.

I use to play quite a bit of tournament Poker myself on PokerStars, but now mostly just cash games at the Hard Rock casino on Albion (Rideau Carleton Raceway).

I've been going on long walks with my dog to keep fit. I've combined this with providing 'treats' to other dogs we meet along the way as a form of entertainment. I'm sharing my overstock of unused Viagra pills by cutting them into 1/3's and handing them out to male dogs. Don't be alarmed.... this is NOT cruel. I checked with my vet first. She (a cute little French spinner, BTW) told me it won't hurt them at all. THEY JUST WON'T BE ABLE TO CLIMB STAIRS FOR A WEEK! Jussstttttt kidding....

I don't get how 14 voted that they haven't changed their routine except for fucking escorts. There are so many things that have changed in our daily routine. Also I suspect the onlyfans voters are providers lol. Too bad the votes results aren't public ;)
That's how I voted because nothing has changed really. I already work from home and other than the odd trip to the local pub mid afternoon it pretty much is the same.

Not a lot of change, I still have to go to work everyday, at 6am, I'm alone in the highway and life is boring now :
- no more gym (got to workout from home)
- no sport in TV, no Sens games to go, no Raptors games to go and if shit continues, there will have no football to watch
- no more travelling for work, I'm usually in TO or Montreal at least once a month. I no longer can justify a trip to bang my fuck friend who is in TO
- I did slow down hobby in the last year, so not a lot of change on that end (that would've been an alternative, but no....)
- I'm a party guy, always right or left... I don't see anybody, so no new girl to meet and bang.

So, beside work... there is Netflix, YouPorn and my hands.
