The loss of JV's hurts, what's his status? Dreymond's foul wasn't flagrant. This is the time of year that JV is at his best, the man loves the Canadian winter.

Kyle has back problems which comes and goes. Hopefully for us the issue doesn't return.
JV has a dislocated thumb. Have not heard how long he may be out or even if he will be. You are right that wasn't a flagrant, in fact no foul was called. In real time it looked like a good no call, in slo-mo Green got all hand but I think it was just basketball.

Raps lose to Brooklyn and Milwaukee with Leonard, then head west and beat the Clippers and Warriors easily, without their "guy"! When that ball is moving, and everyone is involved they look awesome.

they're saying 4 weeks for JV. That downward chop gets called as a foul most of the time. Maybe not against premiere players who get away with more. You're right though the only reason people thinking flagrant is because it happened to get JVs thumb at a bad angle

4 weeks until the cast comes off probably another 2 weeks until he plays, no question he will be missed as between JV and Ibaka the 5 spot has been awesome on both sides of the ball. Monroe and perhaps Boucher will see some additional playing time, as long as they stay within themselves the Raps should be OK. Boucher maybe the best 3 point shooter of the 4 centers, he just is NBA green and this could be a big education for him. Portland tonight, see what the coaches do and how the team comes together. Leonard's status for tonight, anyone know?

Portland is very good. we almost caught them on their home court, but couldn't get the win.

Today would be another big statement win if we can get it. JV won't be there to go up against Jokic. Paskal might not be in the lineup. Is Lowry even healthy? We're playing on their turf, at high elevation. What are our odds?

we certainly weren't gonna win every game. Boston lost to Detroit the other night too. Detroit plays Milwaukee tonight and let's see if Derozan does us a favour and beats Philly?

Raptors got a little lucky last night. Behind almost to the last few seconds. Could say they stole it literally as they had 15 steals to Pacers 6, and 23 points off turnovers versus 8 for the Pacers.

Pretty good considering no JV, Lowry and Ibaka.

Tonight was the game I realized they are not a championship team unfortunately.

they way the Raps were playing against the Heat, I had a hard time believing they were going to win, until they came back from 17 down twice, then I knew that had to be disheartening to the Heat.

They Heat seem like a good team. I'm surprised they didn't just keep going at Whiteside over and over. Monroe did ok, but no way he could have gone for very long.

No Lowry and no JV! Not sure how healthy Ibaka is either. A healthy Ibaka along with JV would limit Whiteside and probably have him in foul trouble. Awesome comeback, I thought the Raps were done!

Raptors showed that they are the best team in the East this weekend, impressive wins against the Bucks and Pacers without Lowry on Saturday and Kawii on Sunday and no JV for both.

Both games were well played by the Raps and Nurse did an excellent coaching job in both.
I would have thought that by now Leonard could participate in both ends of back to back games. I was surprised he didn't play in both this weekend.

Great bounce back wins for the Raptors after that abysmal showing in San Antonio. The mark of great teams is the ability to do that.
