I'm all about NOT conforming to 'convention'. Interpreting our own special version of 'thriller' is waaaaaay hotter!

Catch the CRaZy fast-cut montage middle of the movie . . . . .

Visual drug hallucinations of love, lust, greed, betrayal ------ drugs, group sex, gay-4-pay sex ----- impotence, homeless, shame, survival
As I said, it is an all-time favourite and as such I've seen all the scenes dozens of times. They are not of the thrilling genre regardless of your interpretation. They are a reference to the social, moral wares of the time. No suspense. Nothing thrilling, regardless of your interpretation.

The movie overall is a character study and of document what those times were like in NYC.

BTW, AFAIK it is the only movie ever where two actors from the same movie were nominated for best actor.

Kinda funny how you seem to insist on trying desperately to impose your P.O.V.

Operative word . . . . .'interpretation'. How any of us see this Cult Classic is entirely subjective.

Problably why acting gods . . . . . Brando, Hoffman, Pacino etc. could give a shit about the 'opinions' of pseudo intellectuals, wannabe movie aficionado's etc.

50 yrs since it tore up the indie film scene, we all agree . . . . . 'Midnight Cowboy' ROCKS!!!

OMG this is too funny...totally exploiting their EGO to extract their optimal maximum potential against their will by troll manipulation lmfao...love it and makes the movie even better now...brilliant!

Bro, check out hillarious vid-clip of Brad Pitt's personal trainer during the shooting of Fight CLub. About 5 mins into it, he talks about what it was like working on the movie-set . . . . . Norton was a neurotic nightmare, the director 'David Fincher' was totally psychotic! Awesome!!!
