Wow. This is so sad. Fred was my sanity and hero throughout so many phases of my life here. He protected my identity for me when I was anonymous. He confirmed ip's for me when competitors and bullies posted vile lies about me. He allowed me to speak freely and often. And always checked in on me to make sure I was ok. He was a valued friend and confidant. RIP my friend. You are so missed. Xoxo

I only just noticed this thread. I've been around here for far too long and owe Fred far too much for keeping the place going and the people talking to ever be able to say how much his efforts have given me. But I'm resolved to speak up with my gratitude sooner and more often from now on.

My best wishes and condolences to all who cared about him.

And thank you Fred. Very much.

I interacted with Fred a couple of times throughout the years, a courteous gent that has given us much.
My condolences on his passing, may he rest in peace.

Sad news. I had forgotten about Canbest. Didn't know Fred personally, but have exchanged the odd email over the many years. RIP

Before there was Social Networking, there was VBulletin. Fred's version was a phenomenon. Members with a common discretionary need emerged from the shadows to form a strong community that upheld real human values. I cant believe, after almost 2 decades, we still must conceal our hobbying. Our time will come. Hopefully when we are recognized for being normal decent people, we wont be relegated back into the shadows. If only Fred could have lived to see the day.

Wow, that is one of the best posts I have read in a while!!! We all owe alot to Fred. I completely agree with you about coming out of the shadows. I find it incredible that in this day and age of personal freedom, men who use escorts are viewed as abnormal.

I typically stay away from the Lounge but a post by great writer led me to this post. I hope Fred's at the big lap dance booth in the sky.

I was so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He was always so kind, considerate, respectful, and most of all considered the best interests of all his trusted members. He will be sadly missed by all of us.

Damn cancer.

RIP my friend, even though I never had the pleasure of meeting him I felt like I knew him.
I thank him for this board and for allowing me to become a member. Without this board there are a couple of ladies I likely would not have met.
