Just wondering if anyone is like me and going to go out of there way to make sure they dont see anyone who still took clients when all this COV stuff has been going on. I see a few who I have seen still with ads up claiming there being safe wiping everything down ect

you might as well retire then
you're never gonna know who was working and who wasnt
even some of the ones who said they arent/weren't working have been seeing regs..
get over it

There are definately guys who are going to try but as Thumper said, you don't know everyone who was or was not working. Some were just seeing regulars and not posting ads.

I think some men will try but they will only boycott a couple and still end up seeing someone who was working during the lockdown.

I will say there are some men who I have blacklisted for the way they have handle the hobby during this pandemic. So there will be some, but not all.

Going to have to agree with Thumper here too. I personally don’t think there’s a whole lot of point in boycotting SPs who have been working during this time. You’re never going to know. More and more SPs who originally weren’t working are slowly starting to advertise again every day. Like Thumper said, you may as well just retire from hobbying because if you try to boycott all of them, you’re going to effectively boycott everyone except a couple at best. As of June 2nd (tomorrow), some spas might be opening back up too or at least not too long after anyways. At this point, in my opinion, it’s either get over it or get out.

I'm curious why you would do that. Presumably you mean boycotting them after things are "back to normal", whatever the hell that's going to mean. So what's the benefit? Just to punish them?

I agree with you Bob. Even if it is just to “punish them”, what impact do you (saying “you” as in royal you) even think it’s going to have? The reality of it is most SPs don’t give a single shit about any of us as individuals or if we see them or not. So, what makes you think that YOU not seeing them and giving them YOUR money when it’s clear that most of the SPs who have been working during this are doing just fine without you because there are still guys who will see them regardless of the situation.

You are never going to know who actually wasn’t working or not because if you ask every single SP you try to see, they’re probably going to lie to you about it anyways. So to reinforce Bob’s point, what would the benefit be? The only way “boycotting” specific SPs would even work is if it was the entire community of hobbyists and even then, what good would that do? To further my point, with the amount of guys who aren’t part of any review board community PLUS the amount of guys who don’t post reviews on anyone they do see who have been seeing the working SPs during this, there are clearly too many more of them than there are of us for a “boycott” to be effective in any capacity. To reinstate what Thumper said, get over it or retire from the hobby.

I think for some men, and I am not trying to speak for them, but for some, they see it as risky behaviour.

Now I know we all have our definition of risky behaviour. And having admitted, that I have blacklisted some men who have seen proividers during this time, I can explain what that is for me.

First, clients have a choice in seeing escorts during this pandemic. Some escorts really had no choice. It was work or strave. So there is a difference.

Second, my blacklisting is more about the posts those men posted about seeing other ladies, then them actually seeing ladies. I would have blacklisted them for being that cavaleir about STDs, provider privacy, etc. It shows me that they don’t really care about health and safety and to me that is a red flag. I am assuming that some men are feeling the same about providers. While clearly not thinking about my first point.

I think some men will do it just to be holier then thou and yes - just to try and “punish” them. Which, as already stated, won’t matter as they will never know anyway. Unless the guy is going to call up the provider and tell her “I was going to see but I heard you worked during the lockdown”. Which I doubt will happen and if it did, he would just be blown off as an asshole anyway.
Now I am sure there are some escorts who probably didn’t care about safety and therefore kept working, but for most who were working, I bet they were scared shitless. I am still to scare to go back to work at this time, so I am still waiting. I can’t imagine having to put myself at such risk to put food on the table. To punish those who didn’t want to but had to work is just adding salt to the wound, considering they were already in a rough spot. And you will never know which ladies worked because they had to and which were just not caring about safety.

With all the unknowns, it makes no sense to try a boycott. I get the initial reaction, but once you break it down and think about it, it makes no sense.

One of the indy's I saw regularly for the past year has been working during the past month, she tried to schedule meetings with me but I never had to courage to do it. I know she was seeing others because of social media and from talking to her. I was surprised because I always viewed her as the very safe type and I knew she has savings and also a boyfriend living with her (which i find very reckless).

I thought I would be comfortable to start meeting up over the last week but I noticed the situation is still risky so the last time we talked about meeting I had to decline, she actually became upset with me lol, I had to explain it was just a health issue and wasnt ready but I don't think she understands.

I realized she is a spendaholic and I am not sure if I can trust her with this situation.

For this type of sitaution, you need to make the judgment call for yourself and if it comes out that you can’t see her anymore because you don’t feel comfortable, then that is fine. At the end of the day, you have to do what you feel comfortable with.

That is personal and individual, that is not boycotting anyone you feel worked. There is a difference.

Dont use the Some escorts really had no choice. It was work or strave! as a reason to risk every ones overall health. Escorts are no different then the many others who just cant work due to whats going on!. MY RMT cant work or has not be able to .

AS far as punish people who are working thats not what I meant. Yes your right I or we will never know if people kept working . Lets put it like this If every one was told to shut down as they where and home depo said nah we are staying open. I would then say ok Im never going to shop there again. Yes I have seen ads of people in Durham saying I'm still seeing people but I wipe everything down. In all thats going on we have to make changes for the better good and most people could not work. I have even seen one Durham person say Oh I just do this as a side gig because its fun I dont do it for the money yet I saw over a week ago they are still seeing people.

Seeing as you didn’t read the long response that I posted before, I’ll put it simply like this. Home Depot doesn’t give a shit if you shop there or not either lol

Maybe its got nothing to do with if I care if they give a shit or if you do.

I care So I would and will not go to see someone who did this. Thats the difference. Maybe you dont care and they dont care that people are dying from this and if we want things to return to normal we have to stay away. Its just respect for both fellow people and even more for those who do risk there lives to keep you safe. What happens when you get COV form not keeping inside you call one of them to help you. SO just have some respect for your fellow man.

Going forward I'm seeing people who did things the safe way for all of us and your right I just wont know about those that did things unsafe nothing I can do about that but I just cant see people who I know broke the rules and made this last longer then it needs to be.

Keep safe every

i feel you bro.

but...
if anything, this highlights the inherent risk that we all assume while we scratch our itches. i'm sure imma catch some flak over this, but the overwhelming majority of us who use this forum are addicts of some sort. Whether it's an addiction to sex, to danger or whatever other weird shit that YOU'RE into, each of us is aware that there's a very serious risk to our health and well being each and every time we visit an SP, and yet we continue. Putting one's health on the line for kicks is not normal human behaviour.
So yeah, it's really crazy to think about when you shine a big ol' light on it, but we were all making stupid decisions about where we put our wienies well before this pandemic.

stay safe everyone
