Same goes for illegal immigration. Anyone opposed to it south of the border is a racist hick, but if the same thing was going on in their backyard they'd have a serious problem with it.

I've asked this question many times to the left leaning members on here who are supporting these ''protests''. How would you feel if they came into your neighbourhood or business?

All I get is deflection and a topic change. Which is typical of the hypocrisy of most leftists.

I dunno if I qualify as a left leaning member. Mine is straight, and I am conservative in economic matters.

I believe humans are essentially tribal animals, which works well for small tribes of maybe 100 people against other tribes of similar sizes. That is in our DNA and our brains structure, that have not changed since we lived as small tribes on the African savannah.

Therefore we are intrinsically racist and afraid/hostile to other tribes. Education and civility in society can mitigate this ugly remains from our shared past.
