Are we heading for inflation?

if so, when?
Yes, inflation. The lag time between printing money and inflation is around 8-12 years. The Vietnam war was financed by printing money instead of raising taxes. The inflation started around 1978 and wasn't killed until Volker raised interest rates to around 20%.

Deflation first. Too much supply and not enough demand for 2-4 years.

Then inflation and rapid unreal growth ...STAGflation.

It is one of the few ways that governments can pay back their already massive and growing debts. And central banks will be doing everything possible to ensure highly negative real interest rates.

Think 10%-ish inflation for a decade or so with little or no real growth. That's how you pay back your debts ...if you are a country.

Canada ranks with Greece and Italy in terms of total debt to GDP.
