Do you not realize that Sanders is out of the race? It is now a choice between Biden and the Democrats with a touch of progressive polices (talk is Warren could be the VP pick) or Trump and the Republicans who are set on diminishing the vestiges of social support the US has.
It isn't actually. He has not been crowned the nominee.

This should be interesting. How do you see him being replaced?

No one is running against him anymore. What, exactly, do you see happening to prevent him being named as the nominee at the convention? Who would replace him? Under what mechanism would they be chosen?

I'm curious to see if anything you imagine remotely lines up with reality this time.

His own mouth? There isn't anything at this point. But you are one to discuss nitpicking.

He hasn't been declared yet. That's all I stated.

I wish Sanders, with his team, fundraising and machine, could have run third party. Covid-19, the media, made that impossible. But I think he would have made enough of a run to change USA politics forever.
If Sanders ran as an Independent there is no way that he would have won. All that would occur is Trump winning a second term. Sanders clearly understands that fact, as he has stated that his primary aim is to boot Trump out of office, and to him it does not matter who is the Democratic nominee. He would have backed him / her irrespective!!

Can you be sure.

But that wouldn't have been the point.

Let me put a hypothetical out there..

Let's say he did. And the polls in August showed him in second place behind Trump but say 6 points up over Biden who was in third.

Would you call for Biden, The Dem nominee to drop out at that point? And more importantly, do you think the press would?

Polls in August won't include Sanders.

If you support and vote for a candidate then you, as a person are indirectly responsible for the actions they do as a politician. .
You are directly responsible for Trump, his warmongering, tax breaks for the super rich, destruction of health care and environmental standards.

Then why on earth did Sanders run for the Democratic Party nomination in the first place??

What you are discussing about 3 candidates is totally hypothetical. If Sanders failed to get past Biden in the Democratic nominations do you think that he would surge past Biden in the actual Elections??

Your denunciation of The Democrats and Biden in particular bears no real fruit at all. First of all you mention corruption, and yet we have seen the actual corruption only in the Republican side with so many indictments, prison sentences and real investigations. The war mongering is stark not only on the battle field, but also with the trade wars and the numerous deaths related to the Pandemic. There were attempts to abolish the ACA and not replace it. If you look at who the tax cuts really were meant for, whereas the minimum wages were not even addressed by him. So goodness knows why you yo yo between Sanders and Trump!!

War mongering? I think you are thinking of the wrong president.

"U.S. military forces have been at war for all eight years of Obama’s tenure, the first two-term president with that distinction. He launched airstrikes or military raids in at least seven countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan."

He tried to work within the system.

He had too much faith in the Democratic party. That was his mistake.

Afraid to answer the hypothetical?

And what war has Trump ended?
Did you not overrule congress to keep supporting the war on Yemen?
Did ex members of his security team not try a failed coup on Venezuela?
Are drone attacks not up?
Is Trump planning on testing more and smaller nukes for possible use?

I have been asking you a plain and simple question all along and you have not answered who your preference is in 2020 Elections. Biden or Trump??

If it is Trump then you are happier with the present status quo of the Affordable Healthcare being abolished under Trump's second term. Also, his continuation of arms funnelling to Al Qaeda via the UAE.
How about the rich getting richer while the rest of the Americans go deeper and deeper into debt with Students being discouraged with attending the Universities??

Well, if Sanders is ahead and has a chance of beating Trump then I would say, yes Biden should drop out of the race. However, in the realistic world and not the Trump reality one, that will never occur. Period!!

Sanders has endorsed Biden as the runner, so let's move forward with it. Or do you prefer Trump, as these are the only two realistic choices??

My preference is neither. I would vote third party. Clear and simple. Do you have the capability to understand that choice?

These aren't smears. They are facts. Is Joe Biden above critisism for his actions?
Yeah, your posting history demanding Hillary be locked up aren't smears. :der: To add, you have very little history of 'legitimate criticism' of Trump so your claims don't hold.

Sometimes no. Not when They look at the crumbs and tell you that's all you get.
So you end up fighting for the people who eat the crumbs but still make you pay for it.

It isn't actually. He has not been crowned the nominee.
The royalist in you may like crowning but it doesn't change the fact Biden is recognized as the presumptive candidate. I haven't looked at the numbers recently but based on the primaries, the chance of Sanders winning is only a theoretical possibility like a team being 12 games out of a playoff spot with 15 games left.

I never said "lock her up". I said the Clinton Foundation should be properly investigated. There is a big difference.

And if you were paying attention to the court case after 2016 you would know the primary is meaningless. The party can legally choose anyone at anytime.

Will Sanders ever get it? No he won't. They wouldn't have let him have it no matter what.

That's why he should have ran third party.
