Mike Tyson shows off unbelievable speed aged 53 as former heavyweight champ prepares sensational return to boxing

I think it's a huge mistake for Tyson to begin fighting again at 53. At that age, the problem is less about being able to punch and more about being able to take them on the chin.

Even in his prime, Tyson would have lost against Ali and Foreman and several other greats. No way he's a beast against younger men at 53 years old. The heavyweights today are also superheavyweights... very tall. Tyson had trouble with very tall opponents in terms of reach and torque (power) when hitting them.

Boxing events are now the quick cash grab game of choice. Mayweather and McGregor set the stage, social media influencers followed, and now we have Strong Men getting in on the pay day.

 Thanks for that. I haven't had that good a laugh in weeks!

In his prime, Tyson could have fought them both at the same time and still won by K.O.! Dude was a completely unstoppable terror.

That's a joke. Tyson was only 23 and hadn't even reached his physical prime when he lost to a mediocre Douglas. He had no chin and was small. He fought a bunch of bums.

Definitely the most overrated boxer of all time.

Eddie he was definitely not the most overrated boxer of all time. From 1986 to 1991 he was arguably the best heavyweight on the planet.

Those ''bums'' were the best out there at the time. Douglas was always a capable fighter who never lived up to his promise. But on one night where Tyson didn't train for the fight at all and Douglas fought the fight of his life, the stars all aligned for the upset. It happens.Lennox Lewis lost to Hasim Rahman almost the same way. Joe Lewis the greatest heavyweight of all time lost to Max Schmeling.

Having said all that. Tyson himself has said that a Prime Ali would have beat him. So that puts that one to rest. Foreman has said that he had no intention of fighting Tyson during his comeback. The question is could he have beat Tyson in his prime. In my opinion that fight is a pickem. Could go either way.

It wasn't his fault that the division was so weak, but it was. As such, it is hard to say how good he was. He didn't have a chance for multiple high caliber fights like when Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Shavers, Chuvalo and others all fought around the same time.

I'm a huge Tyson fan, and that's why I know that he was not unstoppable. Only casuals believe that. Foreman was unstoppable until the fight with Ali. Foreman was a beast; he was the original Tyson. And he re-captured the heavyweight crown in middle age. He's as solid as they come. Ali also had a solid chin and would have out-boxed Tyson with the help of his height and reach.

Lennox Lewis also would have beat Tyson in Tyson's prime.

Tyson hits harder than all of them, but that alone won't win against world champions because they have honed defensive skills and solid chins.
