I always loved listening to Mary Carillo during a tennis match. CBC used to hire her for what is now the Rogers Cup.

I second this. She is outstanding. I still remember a U.S. Open match in the ‘90s. Stefan Edberg hit a lucky shot that just caught the tape and gently fell over the net on the opponent’s side for a winner. He approached the net and gave it a kiss, whereupon Carillo exclaimed “well, he’s used to kissing Annette”, which was his wife’s name.
Totally forgot about her. Out of all the females she's probably the only one I liked. The rest of them suck.
I loved how citytv was all connected with all the shows in one building and they way they did their news. The way one person would person be talking, then lead in into sports and pass it off to the sports person and it would be just on the other side of the room and the camera would pan to them. Just nostalgia. You see what I mean at the 3:53 mark of this clip of Kathryn's farewell.

I saw her first. LOL! I remember one time on TV she purposely lowered her shoulder strap for a few seconds. I think she is a white woman but why is she so dark (not that there is anything wrong with it)?
