Why would any expect communist totalitarian governments ruled by a select few to have truthfulness as a characteristic ? They rule by intimidation to keep their citizens in a constant state of fear and terror. Of course the PRC government spins lies and propaganda incessantly. China has conveniently expelled all foreign news correspondents to make it difficult for the rest of the world or even average Chinese citizens to see the true picture. The internet in China is under heavy state control as is the new 5G network. The Corvid-19 cover up continues to be orchestrated by China with the obvious destruction to the rest of the planet in so many ways.

The West needs to come up with a credible deterrent to a second attack. As long as the power-hungry Xi is alive, that is a possibility. Maybe the west will have to develop a bio-weapon of its own.
