Wonder how Ontario's Casino's like being on ''the other side'' for a change. I do feel very sorry for the employee's though.

With this shut down of the casinos in Canada and USA, I hope that the problem gamblers realize they have have a problem. I gamble but I can afford it. With this time off, I see how much money I have saved and am very happy. Do I miss gambling? Not one bit. I hope others stop gambling. When they do open back up, there will be less patrons there in my opinion. There are too many casinos anyways.

I was in this field for 20 years. Thanks for the sentiment Spankingman, yes we are in trouble. Fingers crossed I get some sort of severance, but it will be catastrophic for the operators paying that out for so many at once. Not sure what's going to happen. I theorize that they will keep them closed till a majority of employees move on to find other jobs then they'll deal with it. We will get screwed in some form.

@ILOVETHIS, the greedy brainiacs at the OLG dreamt that it was a good idea opening so many casinos and that they would make sooo much money. The idea was always doomed to fail. The US tried this already called 'Gaming sectors' andnit failed miserably. Where the hell was all the money going to come from? Stupid! And it killed the industry. Online gaming will take over, but do you really trust that?I wouldn't.

Not sure what you meant by "it failed miserably". In 2019 (the last year of proper operations before covid hit) had the US casino sector hit a new high for revenue.

US Casino industry has changed so much, it's no longer the so called "gaming sector" that he is talking about which is the money maker for casinos in the USA more specifically Las Vegas.
What he is referring to is the fact that casinos in the USA in late 90's to mid 2000's tried to add gaming tables to their casinos and thought they would be highly successful and turn huge profits, the industry has quite changed worldwide specially in the USA since early 2000's.

Gambling addiction is one of the worst I've seen on people. I've witnessed it on a friend...now they are mostly doing it online. I'd prefer this hobby over gambling...I rarely lose...

You're paying for entertainment. Be it women or craps. Some people pay too much for women and some people pay too much for craps.

Still glad I'm addicted to women, rather than gambling. Never have gotten that sense of euphoria from a random stroke of luck, like others seem to. So much so that I don't even see the point of slots. You're just mindlessly pulling a lever (or hitting a button). What's fun in that? That's pure addiction to fortune. And it's the most profitable money-maker for casinos; go figure.

I'm still highly anticipating a return to normal for casinos. I want to play poker again with players who actually know what they're doing.

You'll learn one day that not everyone will like or value the same things you do and that's ok.

I don't like Ontario's Casino. Sports betting is the main part of my additional earnings. I only bet on sports when the value of the cryptocurrency is worth the maximum price. Previously, I almost didn't bet because I was heavily invested in cryptocurrency. I don't regret my choice at all, as I was able to earn good money and provide for myself and even my family. Now everything is easier and more reliable, and now I don't even have to make a choice. On one of the most reliable and convenient Litecoin casino I can combine crypto and betting. I like that this area is progressing and that I'll spend less time, but at the same time be sure that I won't be let down.

The online sports betting market has grown during the pandemic.

I love gambling, mainly in Las Vegas and Macau. You just need to view it as entertainment and understand the risks. The odds are not in your favour. It can be a ton of fun. I have been super lucky and am up well into the five-figures.

I can't imagine how people are going through the closure of casinos all over the country. Yes, it is undoubtedly correct that such places should be closed during a pandemic due to the prevention of the spread of the virus, but I'm just wondering how other people cope with this. I realized that I had to learn how to play online for peace of mind, which I did in principle. My brother advised me to pay attention to the service https://joker123th.world/, which is famous for its good reputation among people who have been in this field for a long time and have an idea of what is good and what is wrong. In general, this is how I live now, and I don't even regret that the casinos hadn't opened yet, since I earn much more money than when I was sitting there itself

I was involved for 21 years but on the Racetrack side but we worked very closely with Casino staff. I saw the megabucks being thrown around on BOTH sides from the start as I was at a large Racetrack-Casino venue. I used draw a circle using our site and say within 150 km there were over 10 Casinos possibly more flooding the market. But the SLOTS did save the Racing Industry in Ontario when implemented in 1999.

If gambling were like a virus, the casinos would be our first line of defense. Like the polio vaccine, the casinos wipe us out and leave us healthy. Yet casinos also cause many health problems. Many people who go to casinos tend to develop impulse control disorders, including pathological gambling and compulsive betting, and alcohol abuse. My advice is to gamble only online. You can read this article about sports betting software. There you will find out how the betting software works, and you will know where is better to bet.
