Most overrated songs

One of my pet hates from the 70s. But they still keep playing it.

Anything from The Beatles,Aerosmith,Kiss,Bruce Springsteen.

What's with the first 61 seconds

Not a fan of this song, but the rest of the album is BRILLIANT, yet this is the biggest hit

Back in the Disco days a lot of extended disco mixes such as this one gave ample time of simple rhythm without vocals or melody to allow the DJ to beat-match and cross-fade into this song from the previous one. This is a particularly long example. It does start to give a slight hint of what's to come around the 40 second mark.

Obviously the single mix had a very short intro.

Nooo wayy. I grew up to these songs. In the mid 80's my friends and I would go rollerskating at either Roller Palace (Finch & Warden) or Roller World (Sheppard & Brimley).They had all nighters 9pm-4am skate parties playing Funk, Disco and the slow music skate with your girl

I don’t know anything about knuckleball, but I have to agree Billie Jean is an unbelievable song.

The Who, in general, are not nearly as overplayed as any of their classic rock contemporaries.

We need a most under-rated song thread. There may be some songs that overlap.

never heard it before. Didn't know it was even rated, let alone overrated.

Sorry about the recent loss, but honestly I assumed he had been dead and gone for years. I was astonished to realize he was with us up until a couple of weeks ago. The decades of silence probably fooled me. However. This song is drek.
