Trump has accepted the Russian aid. Now when it comes to the General Elections no doubt Trump will try to give the Russians a pass in the manner that they will once again interfere in these elections.

Trump forbids the export of these mask to other countries. This is a selfish act. If what is stated in the article is correct, then Trump has no authority to stop mask from leaving the country. Since 3M is already manufacturing the product they are in compliance with the law. Under the law, Trump can force a company like a diaper manufacturer to start to manufacture this product that is not usually made at their facility. I hope this matter comes up in his re-election. I hope this foolish act and other cost him his fortune.

It's clear from Trudeau's Q & A today that the deal with 3M is a one-off. It's yet to be seen whether any further shipments will be permitted.

Listen carefully to what Trudeau said in response to questions yesterday. This SHIPMENT was settled. The ISSUE is not settled. Trump has not reversed his view about exports of critical supplies.
Why was it a stupid decision? If I was American I would be pissed off he didn't go through with it but I'm not I'm Canadian and things were settled which is what's best for Canada. If Canada were running out of PPE and we were about to ship it out to some other country based on a previous order would you not want Trudeau to keep it for our health care workers or would you put them at risk for a previous agreement before we knew the height of the crisis?
