No big surprise. Just another gift from Covid-19.

Couples locked at home together so much more than before, economic pressures due to layoffs, etc., lack of alternate sources of entertainment, the kids going stir crazy making the parents crazy as well, and yes, no more hobbying for hubby! Basically a perfect storm!! Will probably get worse as this drags on.

For a lot of folks, unfortunately, this "self isolate" business is more like house arrest with someone who can barely stand under normal circumstances (i.e., with minimum contact).

I wonder if the Swedes have it right...

To a certain point I think we have it right. "Flattening the curve" means that hopefully medical facilities will be able to care for at least the more severe cases, at least for the next 2 or 3 months. However this is at a huge psychological and economical cost for most people in Ontario.

Unfortunately this also means "lengthening the curve", as, unless an effective vaccine or even cure is developed, eventually almost the entire population will at some point become exposed to the virus and will be infected, with varying degrees of severity. And the 18 to 24 month timeline projected by our scientists today may very well be correct.

If that is true, the big question is: At what point, if there is no vaccine or cure, do we resume normal or semi- normal activities as the social and economic costs become much greater than the health risks?

Here
Yup domestic violence will go up, so will the divorce rate, and also a mini baby boom by the end of the year.

Lockdown is going to test lots of relationships. Being around your partner 24/7, she can't just run out to fuck her side-dudes behind your back whenever she wants. Quite stressful all around.

Lol. The Shining is my favourite movie and I've been thinking about it a lot these days. Classic cabin fever. Think I'll watch it tonight. :)

I read the sequel of Shining , Doctor Sleep(was very good) , but I couldn't finish the movie after the novel. It's that bad! Not recommended!

That was funny . Most people are saying men can't hobby right now . Yet no one says anything about women not being able to get out and have their side piece . LOL . It works both ways . The only difference is that men are or were paying for it and the ladies are not .
