I was at a Loblaw today, as you enter you must wash your hands. There was this fifty year old grocery guy turned hand wash Nazi barking out orders and pointing at the hand wash stations. He was over zealous in his job and I do not believe this dickless worm ever had so much authority in his life. He was probably a veggie stacker before they made him the tyrant doorman. I should make a video and post it for Galen to see.

People that have done low level jobs all their life and never had any authority go power crazy when you make them boss. The hand wash boss goes back to the fruit and veggies when the crisis is over.
When I was in Panama 3 weeks ago I went to two grocery stores and each one had three soldiers in full battle gear with assault rifles at the doors enforcing their covid-19 procedures.... I sanitized my hands without being asked.
I don't mind someone being a bit extreme with the safety measures. Keeps everyone on their toes.
I still see a lot of assholes at my grocery store. People wandering around the aisles having cellphone conversations. The shoppers who come in to buy one or two stupid, nonessential items.

Loblaws workers are making an extra $2/hr on top of the minimum wage $14/hr plus an additional bonus of $50 per week. They are earning more than most of us sitting at home in lockdown.

Did you read the first post, the guy was out of control. Barking out orders like he was a drill sergeant. This sort of thing is not good for any business. I went back to the store three times and did not see this guy again.The people that replaced him were much more polite, and they got people into the store just as fast without alienating them. I guess they demoted the door Nazi back to fruit and veggie section.
