Back in 1918, we didnt have people immigrating to other countries becoming a minority. There really wasnt such a thing.
You see, in 1918 people stayed in their own countries where they were their own MAJORITY.
There was really no worries of racism then.
When people INVADE other countries, make no-go zones, demand religious changes, and a change a society of that nation to benefit them, then you would have to expect some sort of back lash.
What are you talking about? We have had waves of immigration to North America ever since the discovery of the New World. White people displaced Native Americans and completely annihilated their culture.
Since then, we have had waves of immigration at different periods in our history: Jews, Irish, Italians, etc. Every time we have had a wave of immigration we have been complete assholes about it.
People used to fear the Irish because they thought their loyalty would be to the Pope and they could not be assimilated into US/Canadian culture. I don’t see anybody flipping out over it these days. Over time people work things out and/or find some new group of people to hate.

I don’t worry about having my job taken away by immigrants. New immigrants tend to find themselves having to work at low paying, menial jobs here in Canada so I’m not really competing with them. I doubt they will take your job at the car wash either- you are more likely to be replaced by a machine or just fired for overall incompetence. Immigrants are the last thing you need to be worried about.
