I'm currently watching a series on Crave called "The Pizza Show". Basically about some dude that owns a Pizzeria in Brooklyn that reviews pizza places in American cities, and all thing pizza related like the worlds largest pizza convention in Las Vegas.

Anyway, I was wondering what your favorite pizza joint is.

My all time favorite is still around but just not the same. A place called Paisanos. It was in Bayview Village mall for years, then moved to Willowdale Avenue for a bit, now it's on York Mills. Even after ownership changed hands, it was still amazing pizza as they didn't change much. Unfortunately, over the years some of their supplies closed shop so they had change (i.e, starting using different pepperoni) so it just wasn't the same.

My current favorite pizza is probably Abruzzo's on Yonge in Richmondhill.

I also get Dante's once in a while but it doesn't seem to be as good since it moved locations:

If i get any of the big chain places I get usuall Pizza Nova or Ginos. Once in a while I'll get Domino's, but I can't stand Pizza Pizza, Little Ceasars or Pizza Hut.

What are your spots? And please spare me the "I make my own pizza" response that someone inevitably always post when we discussing food joints. Just want to know what your favorite place to go grab a slice or pie is. I especially like the old school Ma and Pa places.

If you're in the Etobicoke or Mississauga area you must try Il Paesano in the Browns Line and Lakeshore Boulevard area. It's in a tiny strip mall with very little parking, but definitely worth it. They've been there for decades.

You constantly see their delivery cars around Etobicoke.

looks pretty good and similar to Abruzzo. If I'm in the area I'll give it a shot.

Ricci’s - Langstaff/Weston Rd. Good pizza and veal sandwiches
The chef that worked there left for Ital Pizza down the street, Ricci's isn't what it used to be. Hot pieces of ass still work there. Never forget the Bowie girl.

Best Pizza, I prefer D'Aversa's on Kipling and Woodbridge.

Abruzzo is always at the top.
D'Aversa at Kipling and Woodbridge Avenue.
Terroni's in TO.

I was a huge Camarra's fan before it closed recently.

I haven't been to Dupont location but I'm sure it's same standard.

Looks like all the best Pizzerias are around the Vaughan area... which isn't surprising.

I live in Woodbridge, so I'm gonna give these places a try.

Homemade pizza is best. NY style thin crust pizza is the best often found outside of Manhatten, in the Bronx, Queens, etc.

This is honestly never been my experience. Maybe it has to do with the toppings you like on it. More meat and cheese is going to create more grease. AFAIK, they only do one style of crust so it can be from that. Thicker crust does tend to be greasier.
