Here's an example of irresponsible.

Putting on so much weight that your knees are shot and then say that you are too old to lose weight. How about you take some responsibility for that? Explain that. We're waiting.
I do take responsibility for my health but my knees (good or bad) are not contagious and none of your concern. Roger Federer, Bianca Andreescu, Tiger Wood, Bobby Orr among others also have bad knees. BTW: The primary cause of my knee issue was jogging/running so I stopped jogging/running.

So, when does one stop being young and irresponsible?
You tell us.

Because, regardless of the circumstance, you demonstrated/admitted that even a supposedly mature guy your age can still be irresponsible. The kids are obviously wrong but you are asking for responsible behaviour from teens when even adults have a hard time with it. And you say you accept responsibility, but the fact you do nothing about it belies that admission. Instead it was, "Oh, it's hard to lose weight when you get to a certain age." I suspect that I am older than you yet I have very gradually lost about 60 pounds in the last 8-10 years. You're right. It's not easy. It's damn frustrating. But saying you are too old is a cop out, i.e. shirking responsibility, STILL.

My point is, don't be so high and mighty judging (stupid) teens and their irresponsibility, when it is has always been their nature and when you are guilty of the same. Irresponsible is irresponsible whether it is virus or personal health. And on top of that, you stupidly try to politicize it by blaming it on the teachers and by inference left-leaning people who were supporting the teachers. You failed on so many levels.

p.s. I am not at all concerned about your knees. It is your hypocrisy that got my attention.

Since you want to get personal, I never had a heart attack unlike you know who. Focus on your own health and don't lecture other people about their knees. Thank you.

Like I said, your health does not concern me in the least. It was a means of pointing out your pompous hypocrisy. I was lecturing you on your idiotic attempt at connecting the irresponsibility or youth with striking teachers. I demonstrated that you are no more responsible than they.

And seeing as you have no counter arguments to my point(s), you are basically agreeing that I was right.

Unlike you, I do believe that teachers have a major role in shaping the lives of our children. That is why they keep telling us how important they (teachers) are and that children/youths are our future.

"I demonstrated that you are no more responsible than they." This is your quote and you are wrong, again.

Teachers are more responsible because their job is to teach our kids social responsibility as well as the 3 "Rs".

You asked me why young people are so irresponsible. I gave you the answer, that young people always have been and always will be irresponsible, regardless of how they were educated. Why are you trying to deny this?

BTW, those kids on the Fla. beach that you are citing. Which one school district did they come from? Which one learning institution do they go to? Did they all go to private schools? Did they all go to public schools. What one teaching method were they taught with?

Obviously their learning experiences have been as diverse as one can imagine, so how and where they were educated doesn't make a difference. Yet you are blaming the teachers in Ontario who were on strike for their irresponsibility.

Emperor has no clothes assuming the video is even legit

The Northeast USA had already exploded in Coro virus (NY, DC, NJ, CT, MA were like the hotbeds of the virus). Only other places even close are CA and WA

People congregated in Florida (one of the healthier states) and went home to most of the infected states

So this matters why?

There is a young family across the street from me with 3 kids.I am guessing the kids range from 8-13.
There is a constant train of parents dropping off their kids at the house for the day. The house must be 1 big germ factory.
Can't believe none of the parents have any common sense.
Report them. Seriously!

Too many idiots live among us. Some (many?) of them are teachers who should be role models for our kids, instead they are the worse or among the worse offenders.

"I`ve got a 20 something couple across the street from me. Last weekend and right now they have a house full of company, 4 cars worth. She`s a teacher, obviously book smart and real world smart can be distant. "

"I put my buddy's daughter & her friend up in one of my rentals who returned from Florida & can't believe they actually got into college! They still want to the LCBO, grocery store for a few things dad didn't get them(they said feminine products) & "dying" for a Starbucks & wanted to use one of my car's!"

"My BFF kooks how their neighbours have been partying it up as well. How she is a teacher as well and how he tried to explain to the danger and they just ignored every word of it."

Omw home from work I texted & asked if they needed anything & their two biggest concerns were losing their tan & starbucks! Had the balls to ask if I could pull some strings with my friend that owns a tanning salon lol. I was going to bring them a pizza until I heard that...
