I definitely agree that they are idiots and the far reaching areas they went is also not surprising. However, I don't think that that study measured how many cases were caused/spread because of the beach gatherings. It just shows where they went, keeping in mind, however, that it created a potential for the spread of the virus to be accelerated in terms of numbers and geographical distribution.

I think some people may look at it and think that the virus spread to all those places.

Based on the videos I saw, it seems like all or almost all the "beach people" were white. Time is way overdue to stop blaming the Chinese for spreading the virus.

I`ve got a 20 something couple across the street from me. Last weekend and right now they have a house full of company, 4 cars worth. She`s a teacher, obviously book smart and real world smart can be distant.

There's nothing wrong with eating bat. If you had never eaten a lobster and someone brought one to you, you'd be disgusted at the thought of eating a giant alien bug creature that eats live and dead things from the deep sea.

Who's to say the next virus won't come from a chicken or a (mad) cow? Will you demand an end to hamburgers and chicken nuggets?

Sanitation is the key.

I put my buddy's daughter & her friend up in one of my rentals who returned from Florida & can't believe they actually got into college! They still want to the LCBO, grocery store for a few things dad didn't get them(they said feminine products) & "dying" for a Starbucks & wanted to use one of my car's! :doh: FFS stay the fack inside & have some respect for the rest of us after getting back from that cesspool & be happy with what you got given to you! If I could lock the door from the outside I would but I think that's against the law...

These youths are products of our school system and according to striking teachers are our future. Yet, they are so dumb that they go to Florida and now that they are back they want to go to Starbucks.

My BFF kooks how their neighbours have been partying it up as well. How she is a teacher as well and how he tried to explain to the danger and they just ignored every word of it.

I am deeply saddened by humanity right now.

There is a young family across the street from me with 3 kids.I am guessing the kids range from 8-13.
There is a constant train of parents dropping off their kids at the house for the day. The house must be 1 big germ factory.
Can't believe none of the parents have any common sense.

Actually, it is a simple answer for anyone with common sense. You answered it, but you obviously aren't smart enough or have enough common sense to understand something that's been around since the beginning of man.

Because of no other reason than they are young. And young people have always been irresponsible. And guess what, regardless of whatever their education is, they will continue to be irresponsible.

Putting on so much weight that your knees are shot and then say that you are too old to lose weight. How about you take some responsibility for that? Explain that. We're waiting.

So, when does one stop being young and irresponsible? If you read my quotes of the posts by RZG and Jessica Rain, the irresponsible parties were both teachers. So, is it unfair to place some blame on our greedy teachers for not preparing our youths for life in the real world?
