To all you sports fans,
There is literally nothing interesting to watch on the sports channels and actually, I have no idea how are they going to fill the time if this lasts even 2 months. There are only so many blooper reels, reruns of old events, human interest stories and the "experts" speculating about when things will resume that they can show.
I estimate I probably spend 20-25 hours a week watching sports and sports reporting. That is now basically zero. That's a big chunk of time to fill. On top of that, I am worn down with all the news of corona pandemic, primaries and stock market crashes, so the news stations are pretty much gone as well. The rest of cable TV is pretty crap. Maybe a bit of Food Network. I feel like I'm becoming very chummy with Guy Fieri.
Fortunately, I have Netflix and Amazon Prime. I finished watching Man in the High Castle, Better Call Saul and The Hunters. On my To See list is: Goliath, Fargo, Vikings, Jack Ryan etc. And, of course, I have more time to spend on TERB to communicate, pontificate, debate and irritate, including a certain Mr. Charming, which is actually a lot of fun. Can't wait for the weather to start improving so I can try to get out on the golf course as much as possible. Medical appointments are also good time fillers.
Anybody else?
