Plenty of beer in Beer store. There's no mad frenzy for it like for toilet paper......yet!

I think there's probably lots of product in the supply chain too. Beer is one of the most common produced products in the market so i'm not worried....yet.

Just came back from returning empties at the beer store here in York Region. Shelves are full. No need to panic folks!

I don't see gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacies or beer & liquor stores closing any time soon. This crisis is going to go on for a few months so we're all just going to have to adjust and live according to the new protocols being set forth. Wear gloves when handling anything outside of your home (gas station pump handles, abm machines..etc) and try and use tap'n'go as much as you can. practice regular disinfecting around the car and house (bathroom, faucet handles, door handles, car door handles, steering wheel.. etc anything that you touch) and wash your hands regularly.

Being a prepper for a long time (since before Y2K) I already maintain a medicine, food & water supply so there was no need to go on a panic buying spree. Yes I did buy some extra liquor wine and beer this week but that was because I knew I would we would be spending a lot more time at home and not going out to restaurants or bars for a while. I still go out every few days to get fresh produce but I wear surgical gloves before I enter the store, I don't use carts or baskets and all items go right into my reusable grocery store bags and I hit the self checkout on the way out and do the tap'n'go. I make sure we wash everything well before we eat it or wipe it down before I put it away in the cantina. Right now people should be buying javex bleach to wipe down and clean and disinfect anything they bring into the house!!

If you practice common sense then chances are that you will get thru this crisis! I just worry about people dropping their guard as soon as we hear that 'the curve has flattened'. Just as in SARS, the second wave (and perhaps 3rd or 4th) will hit us and it may end up affecting many more people than expected.

The Beer Store officially suspended returns and recycling on march 19. How did you manage to get an exception? I got a pile of empties building up.
