GTA & Thereabouts...
Is the beer all gone? Has it been ransacked from the shelves at the Beer Store or LCBO?

I've been on a hiatus from drinking and haven't been in a while. This weekend was a reward weekend where I would've indulged as I'll be alone for a few days... I don't want to be let down - I rather not go at all.

Even if the government closes basically everything, LCBO will be the very last thing open. They make way too much money from it. We'll drink and dance and screw, because there's nothing else to do.

I wonder if the winemaking places are doing really well. I remember you could get a big batch for about 3 dollars a bottle.

The Premier who is well acknowledged to have been a drug dealer when cannabis was illegal and who peddled " a buck a beer" as Premier. He is now the supreme overlord of the LCBO and the OCS. How ironical is that ?? Ford is unlikely to allow these two crown corporations to cease operation even if armageddon is upon us.

Moonshine nah pruno the real deal just make sure not to blind anyone.
Distilleries are making hand sanitizers due to the short supply, here and in the states. I heard that the Niagara wine growers as well as other farmers are short on labour from Mexico and Jamaica to start the season and that will impact crops and yields.

I was at the lcbo to pick up some wine and booze didn't seem busy but I ended up buying too much because there were some deals. Actually wife was with me, usually I take a few minutes and she likes to go through all the aisles and look at the magazine to get air miles, I don't drink white only red .. didn't see corona on sale.

Pruno isn't wine, or moonshine, it's white lightning, hillbilly cough syrup or whatever you want to call it. Making it is easy. Few shots and you won't care about anything guaranteed.
