Your problem is you are so fixated on Trump you don't see the greater issue.

The fact that any President and any party can block this is a systemic issue, not a person one. And the true solution is to take away the ability of the govt to not supply healthcare to its people in a time of crisis.

And the best, easiest and cheapest way to do it is Medicare for All. Take away the ability and they can't use it as a political football.
He who pays the piper, calls the tune. A gov't can decide how much money they have or are willing to use to fund a national program, It already happens in Canada where we see certain services or people with certain conditions and ages no longer being covered. They can still call it a universal health care system but the gov't can change the rules.

NOTHING IS GUARANTEED. At least not indefinitely.

Your problem is that you are so fixated on your “revolution” that you are blind to the fact that America is being led by, to quote Bernie, “the most dangerous president in modern American history.”

You want to burn down the house you’re living in and build a new one; you fail to recognize that you have a serial killer inside the house you’re in right now.

Um.....

Why is it burning down the house to want to M4A? Some better labour laws? And a reduction in military spending to be used on infrastructure spending (and therefore good jobs) .

And in light of recent events, my call for more sane trade deals looks pretty good, especially on the Pharmaceutical side eh? I said years ago China has too much of trade.

The house I want to burn down is the present leadership of the Democratic party. To give people a real choice in politics.

Burning it down, for you, means that if you can’t get everything you want exactly the way you want it then you will throw your support behind the most dangerous president in modern American history and cheerlead him in destroying the country.

It means no longer waiting for a Dem party that isn't going to do anything.

I heard that Reagan was the most dangerous, then, Bush 1, Then Bush 2. It's the same line over and over. The GOP say the same as well about Clinton and Obama.

It's only working for the rich. If it means things have to get worse before they get better so be it.

So you're cheering for things to get worse because Sanders isn't the candidate?
Lovely.
If necessary yes.

The Democrats for decades have relied on the fact the left didn't have a choice. That no matter what they did or who their candidate was "vote blue no matter who" was the default position.

Well they are finally sick of waiting. At this point the Democrats are no longer a party many are the left are comfortable with and don't feel represent their policies positions and values.

The Democratic party is not entitled to votes. They have to earn them. If people don't vote for them that's a failure of the party, not the voters.

From the guy who is deliberately crashing the plane to teach us all a lesson.

No Thx.
Is it your position the Democratic party is entitled to a person's vote no matter who the candidate is, and what policy they espouse?

Has that ever worked?
Yup. After the great Depression came the New Deal and numerous social services. Leading to Social Security and Medicare. As well as several Wall St reforms. And the breaking of the monopolies like Standard Oil.

Also led to numerous labour reforms. Which led to the creation of a middle class.

FDR got three terms. Would have had a fourth. Sounds like lots of good things happened in the long run.

This is, of course, exactly backwards. The Democratic party has been moving steadily left for years now. The "heighten the contradictions" types aren't the ones helping that.

Which is why you would prefer if there was another Depression. Once people have suffered enough, they will vote the way you want.

I mean, the NHS came in after WWII, so obviously the proper way to get Medicare for All is declare more wars.

On the day that Trump was born, they angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moon dust in his hair of gold
And starlight in his eyes of blue

Once Trump is re-elected, The Affordable Health Care Act goes before The Supreme Court.

They have been moving left soley due to the rise of Sanders. Joe Biden is not left wing. Under Clinton's Third Way they moved right.

Thus it is not a contradiction. That's just another lie. The party elite are fighting it tooth and nail for the donor class.

The only reason you think this is because you are right wing economically but think paying lip service to identity politics makes you on the left.

They have been at war for 19 years now remember? Up to I think 5 countries bombs are dropping now. And a few come and gone.

Supported by both leadership's.

So how about brings troops home, cutting the military budget and using tax dollars to help people in the USA instead of killing overseas.

Does that sound so bad?

That is errant nonsense. This is not due to Sanders. They have been moving left since the fall of the DLC and Bill Clinton leaving power 20 years ago. (Honestly, you can make an argument they have been moving left for 30 years if you look at the data, but the DLC third way stuff was real and so it is probably cleaner to say 20 years.)

Thus it is not a contradiction. That's just another lie. The party elite are fighting it tooth and nail for the donor class.

AHAHAHAHAHAH
OMG.
*wipes away tear*

That's priceless.
