Just found the Twitter feed of my very favourite current SP and it’s kind of life changing. Just a little richer view into her life - some boring of course but it’s a little sample taste of her between main courses.

But I’ve never subscribed to SP Twitter feeds because if someone picked up my phone and opened Twitter it’d be pretty obvious that my hobby isn’t cycling.

There are phone apps for private calling and texting, and we can just delete the history.

What do you guys do to keep your Twitter history discrete yet easily accessible? Kind of want to delve into this new world of discreet social media.

Twitter allows you to set up multiple accounts from the same mobile #. You need different email addresses for the different accounts.

So set up a "dad" account and subscribe to the Leafs, Raptors, some home improvement and model railroad accounts and you have something family friendly.

Then set up a "pooner account" and subscribe to the escort pages you want to follow.

When your family is around, sign out of the pooner account and sign into the dad account.

It can be entertaining. You will find some a pleasure to follow and others a complete train wreck. Use twitter to screen out the train wrecks. The ones that make a nagging wife look like the best thing since sliced bread. LMAO

Dude, you hit the nail right on the head! LOL! Never saw so many insecure, raging head cases posing as elegant, sophisticated 'women of the world' in my life. They project their lives as 'lifestyles of the rich and famous' but constantly go off on angry hate filled rants, or manic-depressive self loathing binges like extremist, bipolar maniacs! They are classy, educated, and totally have it all put together in a neat little bow, but then let it slip their 'therapist' is helping them so much to overcome their demons. That and weed. Lots and lots of weed. Because it's totally normal for every successful young woman to have a shrink on speed-dial!

Some recently said on TERB 'You don't date crazy!' Twitter is a very useful tool in screening out 'crazy bitch syndrome' for sure!

I agree. Twitter is an excellent screening tool. One observation I've noticed is that those that "have it all put together" tend to not post very often.

One thing I've also noticed on Twitter is some ladies who cannot get a booking here if their lives depended on it and strictly rely on touring are the ones putting out "how-to" manuals and being retweeted by the locals. Imagine opening up a new business and wanting to be mentored by Steve running the empty hardware store next to Home Depot who yells at all the customers asking which flange to use with their TOTO toilet.

My favorite is when they spend all day and evening bitching about slobbyists and then go ahead and post an ad giving a discount to board members. Really makes you chuckle.

There is one in particular, but as a supreme gentleman I will leave them unnamed.

To answer OP's question if a twitter is not private you can generate a RSS feed and keep a collection of those you wish to follow without them knowing you follow them and without using the twitter app directly. I don't know of the exact method but after some googling you will find it very intuitive. In fact, this is kinda how the internet newsgroups used to work, unlike nowadays with a centralized media platform feed as seen in Twitter or Facebook and other social media sites.

You actually got to choose who you want to listen to and had much more freedom in how you consume media online. It still exists, its just less commonplace now.

A few points -

1. I've seen these really neat privacy screens where you it's really difficult for someone to creep and see your phone content lets say if you are on public transit or at work browsing stuff on your phone. My phone model doesn't have it unfortunately but the popular iphone/samsung models will for sure.
2. I always keep my twitter screen on 'notifications' tab so that no pictures pop up when I first open the app.
3. Perhaps you can use twitter web on your mobile browser to sign in every time as opposed to the app - I've never switched between personal/business Twitter accounts before but that could be promising. Just watch out that with algorithms social media platforms will suggest you to your contacts on your phone and your social media platforms somehow. That is why many sps do not put their personal social media accounts on the same phone as their sp identity phone.

I was hesitant to go onto Twitter because of all the negativity surrounding it, but Twitter has a few interesting features that can be used for your convenience - I find the 'mute' button quite effective as well as the 'hide reply' option. To eliminate negativity from your feed, simply unfollow or tell twitter not to show you similar content if it is a suggested content via the drop down arrow on top right of tweet.

I think there is genuine concern from both sides regarding negativity on any platform when it comes to sp world, but unfortunately with barrier of entry to the world of sp being as low as it is, business sense and acumen does not come readily and as quickly to the ladies, and so I think sometimes there is a reflection of that and I don't think there is a need to judge that. Obviously business can be given or taken elsewhere as a result. I consider myself lucky as I have ventured into various businesses before and have extensive customer service experience - and believe you me the first time I ever got a 1 star review in any business of mine it's not a good day and can be soul crushing. However, I strongly believe in de-stigmatizing seeking out mental health services, just as much as seeking sexual services. Most entrepreneurs have to at some point or another because things can get super overwhelming.

You can view tweets or pictures even if you are not following them unless it's a private account which you have to follow, although recently pictures from the majority of indy's are rarely posted anymore it's more used for retweeting of their pack, re affirming their own views and to advertise the normalization of lavish gifts for the majority.
You can also view Twitter on your laptop or tablet and log out when you are done. I rarely check Twitter anymore because it's just venom but when I used to check I would log in check the SP I was interested in, check her Tweets and evaluate if she is someone I would like to see based on her attitude, then log out.

But be very careful of what you read, believe, retweet or repeat and think of as the norm in the industry when it's coming from Twitter.
Unfortunately Twitter is used as a source by a few bad SP's who are hiding behind mediocre service, mediocre looks and mediocre attitude to promote, reiterate and make norm their own views and having their cohorts/lapdogs repeating the same nonsense.

I advise all hobbyists to use socail media feeds specially Twitter to screen out such SP's.

That, I've always found odd.
It truly is amazing that some spend years Tweeting multiple times every day about their screening process, and how they don't see hobbyists from review boards since we're all disrespectful clients and telling others of how that has had the outmost positive affect on their business with their lapdogs/cohorts repeating the same nonsense.
Only to reduce their rates and still not get booking clients in the GTA, and now go on to Tweet on a daily basis how their new rates has had the outmost positive affect on their business.

Some SP's need to repeat their policies and opinions over and over again for the naive clients and SP's so it seems normal, adhered to on a daily basis and practised by others.
Classic case of being out of touch with the reality and not realizing what the main problem of their business practice is. And trying to advise other naive SP's of the same unsustainable practice.

Trump-style, say it over and over and the simpletons start to believe it!

These so-called "elite" "boundaries first" "all board members are slobbyist" divas, you notice none of their clients tweet how much of a wonderful time they've had? I wonder if they actually get repeat clients?

Best part is that some of these SP's who are complaining about review boards specially TERB, and it's posters as being non clients and slobbyists are advertising mermbers here. The hypocricy is unreal.
