I messaged the owner and her phones off. This is all insane !! I cant believe this has happened.
Never been in the massage parlor, but I get hair cutting supplies from the store adjoined to it and never really saw anything to out of the ordinary.
This is really upsetting.
I have never visited a massage parlour before but I always assumed it was safer for the attendants than if they were Indy or even agency escorts because they are with other people right there with her from other girls to staff.

Are these parlors allowed to hire security people? Or are they bound by the same (now-unconstitutional) laws as agencies in that regard? Obviously this is a horrible thing, and it seems like there have been quite a few sex workers murdered (if indeed the victim was an employee) in the past year. Is all of this violence able to happen because of the illegal/clandestine nature of the business, or are there other significant factors at play here? I know Ireland and Scotland both saw massive upticks in violence against sex workers after passing laws similar to C-36. What has to change in order to stop these sorts of tragedies from happening with such frequency?

It seems targeted so they all know each other

Just saw an interview with the young woman that survived, she says she disarmed the suspect who had the machete (while getting stabbed in arm and having tip of finger sliced off) and stabbed him right through the back. Very brave young lady.
I saw the interview too. She was unarmed, took on a young man who just killed someone with a machete, got stabbed through her left arm, had part of a finger cut off and somehow disarmed him and put him down by stabbing him in the back. This woman is a hero! BTW, her finger was sown back on. She also said that the woman who was killed was really sweet and very family oriented. So sad. May she rest in peace.
That’s crazy. Literally like something out of a horror movie. Good for her! Horrible that a seemingly nice lady lost her life because of this asshole.
