I see two variant. The first one is she wants you to tell her about your feelings as she also likes you. The second one is she likes you like a friend, wants to spend time with you, but doesn't want to hurt you.
I don't understand what you are saying. To me, you are using different words to express the same thoughts

Agreed. In this situation, gays are like girl friends (who just happen to have a penis).
They always think with their big head. They have no interest at all to bed a woman.

I think it means that the woman is just stating that the relationship is not going any further than "friendship ". Friendship is ambiguous and doesn't have to include sex as their are sexual friends, monetary friends, ride sharing friends and chat friends to name a few. Friendships can be mutually exclusive or intertwined.

First thing, never EVER argue in the slightest at that point. Because it is actually pleading, that's what it is. Very weak. It must not ever be about convincing someone, that doesn't work with a woman. It's like talking to the police if you are seriously suspected of something, or going to be charged - no, shut up! You are so tempted to argue the case then and there - don't do it. You will only get yourself in trouble, there is no upside. If she is genuine, then that's that, for the moment at least. You really need to change yourself at that point, but all these people saying you need to change to get her - well, that in itself is problematic. Why aren't you the man you want to be already? In which case, if you are, hell no, you are NOT going to change. So you can recover right off the bat by being good with it - cheerful actually. And walk away. But you have to not really mind. You kinda can't fake that. Best thing is to work on other women you are attracted to.

On the other hand if she is just playing some kind of game, testing and all that crap, being cheerful will end that nonsense very quickly. Keep having a great time, enjoy your life. LOL, wait till she gets a boyfriend than invite them both over to a party! Make the guy your friend! That will totally bowl her over. She will see that you didn't grovel. But... lol - you don't kinda don't want that kind of woman anyhow.

You do not want to be, never mind appear to be, the one who wants more out of a relationship than the other. To me, its easy, if she doesn't want a physical relationship to continue, then neither do I. People who constantly yo-yo all over the place with relationships sometimes have a chronic need for never-ending "relationship-dramatics". Why do you think people watch all these reality shows where people are all over the place with each other all the time?

Ever have someone who regularly says those dreaded words, " we need to talk about our relationship"?

This is all just full of crap.
In one breath you're saying "you don't kinda don't want that kind of woman anyhow".
With an lol to boot and in another you're advising to wait till she has a bf and make him your friend just to mess with her. Really?
Go through all that for what? What if her bf is a jerk? Make a disingenuous friend just for your own selfishness?
You're obviously not a friend to her so just move it along and stop grovelling.

When a woman tells you "lets just be friends" it means the following.

1. We are never having sex again
2. We will never have sex.
3. I have found someone of higher value to fuck.
4. A combination of the above or all of the above.

You have to remember
1.Women reserve the right to change there mind at any time.
2. All women are hypergamous by nature.

My advice
Move on find someone new to crazy off the wall sex.. Perhaps book a super hot SP!!!

What does it mean after you have become lovers? After you've done the dirty a few times?

Is it a too polite way of saying I never want to see you again? Is she saying I'd like to keep you around if I can't find a better guy? Is she saying I want you around as one of my girl friends (with a penis)?
I know there are many things it could mean. I would like to know the general consensus.

I'm looking mainly to women to answer this question. But of course it's open to all

Considering you're summation of what constitutes a relationship I think the work you need to do is not with another person it is with yourself.

I'll tell ya. I never had no luck with women. Even my own mother wouldn't breast feed me. She said she just liked me as a friend.

It depends on what your relationship was like before she said this to you.

1) If you've had a sexual relationship with her, it means she has found a better catch. Some dude out there of higher value (real or perceived). If she's young, this could mean anything from better looks to a better job. If she's older it's generally about higher status job and/or more money.

2) If you've never had sex with her, she's letting you know that she finds you physically revolting or she thinks that you're a beta that should commit suicide.

Mine used to tie a pork chop around my neck just so the dog would play with me...
