Uncircumcised, glans penis issue

So a question was raised by a friend..

Due to having an uncircumcised penis, the foreskin covered the 'glans penis' (Head part) for most of his life. As a result, every time he pulls back his foreskin and touches the head, it is very uncomfortable and painful. I am guessing... he has to practice exposing it to air for some time in order for the glans penis to adapt and desensitize.

Any thoughts on how he best can desensitize this? It's also problematic when it comes to dealing with women he meets, constantly having to tell them not to pull back his foreskin.

Obviously, what do SPs think about this?

I have the same problem - TMI, I know. I am guessing it's standard if a guy isn't cut.

The obvious solution is for your friend to become circumcised, I guess. That would desensitize his glans, as it would be continually exposed to air, underclothes and whatever else. Most women simply understand that uncut guys can be very sensitive and go with the flow.

If he gets circumcised, he may lose TOO MUCH sensitivity and have difficulty getting off at all.

I guess after reading this I should be glad that I am cut; there are many voices out there that say there is no medical reason for circumcision - but it seems there are some benefits when it comes to your sex life.

If it's that sensitive he may have some issues but it's not because he's uncut, not as an adult anyway.
From a young age you should be pulling back the skin to piss, to wash your penis, and then you start having sex.
Your skin gets pulled back naturally when you fuck, how do you feel anything when you're getting head if it's not exposed.
You should have enough sensitivity to enjoy sex without feeling any discomfort.

Everyone - male or female - has different levels of sensitivity. Some uncircumcised dicks are hyper sensitive and cannot have contact with the foreskin pulled back without it hurting. The owner of the dick can still orgasm through contact through the foreskin.

That's interesting, I couldn't even imagine that.

Before you consider circumcision, be aware that it does hurt.

I got cut as a newborn and I couldn't walk for a year.

And if you do decide to get it done, don't cheap out on the surgery. Low Cost Circumcision can be a rip-off.

That's nothing. My buddy was circumcised as a new born and it hurt so much he couldn't SPEAK for a year and cried himself to sleep every night.

Yea, if he is feeling pain or even mild discomfort, it is more likely a medical or extreme sensitivity issues. Either way he should see a doctor.
This isn't about him being uncircumsized.

What's a doctor going to do?

There's always desensitizing cream, I guess.

Not an sp here, but you wanna know what? Between guys, there’s such thing as too much horn talk, and a fella ought’a be aware of it.

Do you remember Dr. Sue Johanson that had the tv sex show?
Well this topic came up and she said you don't have to to get circumcised.
What the doctor will do is make a cut underneath the foreskin to loosen it so you can slide it back.

I think he's relying on the rarely used "Medical Advice Exception" to the No Dick Talk rule in the locker room.

This is a bad tip!

The "friend" doesn't have a tight foreskin, is glans is just super sensitive.

His solution is to use a desensitizing cream which he can rub onto the glans and then leave fully retracted each day/night. It numbs the glans completely and within a week he'll become less sensitive without having to use the cream.
