that's really disturbing. I like my little hobby, but I worry about this. Imagine finding out that you had victimized even one person, however unwittingly.

You have a conscience. That is good. I, too, wonder about some of the providers that I have visited over the years. We do whatever we can to help them, even if it is showing them respect and consideration. If we know for sure, an anonymous contact with LE would be appropriate, but only if we know for sure.

I really new to this so I was wondering if there are any signs to look for to know if the Provider is a victim of trafficking?

Thank you so much for all that insight! This is a really big issue in the whole sex workers community, even for ‘john’s’ like us. I believe that if we all worked together and started to look for these clues we could all benefit from saving lives, better SP’s and of course cutting down on the # of Scammers that’s been posting a lot lately. I have been in this hobby for a few years now and just this past year I have ran into scammers and Bad SP’s (probably ran by pimps)

It’s very hard to know but those signs are dead giveaways. With reputable well established agencies I’m assuming that they screen the girls and can see these signs as a decision to not hire them. The Toronto strip club Brass rail does not hire any girls with name tattoos or obvious branding symbols. Anyway I’m assuming most of them who do have pimps end up on leolist.

In a piece of good news and sweet justice, this particular John helped save the life of a SP who was trafficked. Her story is equally disturbing. The suspect is now in prison. However I think that sentence is way too light for what he did

Wow, thanks for sharing. All this info is sad but important to know. I've always been aware to the best of my ability to avoid ladies that show possible signs.
I prefer more mature ladies in the hobby, helps with that but never a guarantee

It's all very sad and very predictable. Since the activity is illegal, criminals get involved, it's kind of inevitable. And people like that prey on the weak.

Not unlike the so-called war on drugs. Its main accomplishment has been the rise of multinational extremely powerful cartels. Drugs are illegal almost everywhere on earth and yet there is a flourishing international trade on every drug you can imagine that are never more than a phone call or two away. Drugs are illegal almost everywhere and yet almost anyone can get anything they want, not exactly a successful war, is it?

It is bizarre that there are still people who think you can stop others from doing what they want to do. We should be focussing efforts on protecting the innocent, let consenting adults do whatever the like with each other. They will anyway.
